Chatuchak PlayGround Vintage Flea Market , Bangkok - Part - 2.

in #travelfeed5 years ago

Last weekend i was at the PlayGround Vintage Flea Market and this weekend i decided to go back there for 3 reasons. First i didn't get to see it all because it got late by the time i got there , secondly there is something of interest that i want to buy this time and thirdly i had a few request that my followers want to see more so here i am to show you around again follow me come this way ladies and gents.

Well here i am again feeling like a little kid stepping into a time machine the adrenaline and excitement been here again is overwhelming for me because it just brings back so many memories and fun of my childhood looking at these vintage items , drinking that coke out of glass bottles not plastic bottles was really cool.

I remember having one of these slug guns shooting the sparrows out of the trees...lol :)

And playing in the dirt at the parks with these heavy metal Dinka toys.

These man power transportation bikes have always been around and are still used today in many parts of the world look at how old this is needs a lot of attention but still has a price tag of $400 US dollars.

So many models of old clocks , old phones and old cameras here it just shows you have far forward we have moved in such a short period when you really think about it.

The classic high class Stereophonics in them days and still look classy today.

Don't we all still love these old glass cabinets , chester drawers , coffee tables now they were tough and still tough to still be around made out of real wood.

ET makes another appearance....lol :)

These solid tree trunks are a work of art beautifully hand carved used as pillars on front porches of houses back in the days and still could be used with a good polish up.

This was a poison dart shooter carried around by the enemies of the Burma and Siam war for close range silent kill.

Some old mark up brushes for the cows and a couple of cows that have seen there days...lol :)

Some more old fun magazines.

Love the way this trunk was turned down then back up on this Bonsai tree.

Just so many countless Knickknacks in this vintage market it really is a fun place to spend a few hours to browse around.

These old reading and sun glasses were really cool and in good order in every shape , size and color and this lovely old chap had some great looking Chinese tables and chairs.

Now i will tell you one of the reasons i came back here today and that was to buy one of these cool metal clock lamp stands look at how cool this is it will go well in my bar apartment area.

And that completes Part - 2 of the PlayGround Vintage Flea Market hope you enjoy your tour around and have some things in mind to buy for when you visit this amazing market.

Oh there's a couple of my kids to have collections of musical instruments oh, well only wants it they play but many of them. I'm always looking for new ones. And I will be the first to admit that that is a really cool bicycle do not think I have ever seen one that looks like that! You just can't make this stuff up can you?

Nobody can top vintage no matter how hard they try and it is truly such a fun experience to sift through something from my childhood that I can no longer find. I will say that I can find Coke in a glass bottle still but is mostly plastic that is in the mainstream. What you call a slug gun looks like what we in America call a BB gun and yes the boy is used to always be shooting things out of the tree. I will make no comment as I had six brothers who were just as bad as you. I really like the Dinka toys! We had similar but these look really really like awesome quality. And so realistic!

The transportation bikes with the Sidecar car popular all of the world and I cannot believe that it would be asking $400 price. Realistically, I'm not sure that it would cost much more than that to buy a new one or maybe I'm being unrealistic. LOL clocks and phones are always a hot item but I especially like the clocks and I can see that you have the knives. A boy and his toys. What else do I expect? You always seem to find shops with the most amazing chess pieces statues wood carvings and now I think I see you phonograph actually I think it's called a gramophone. You already know I love all kinds of wood so just put them in my shopping cart. Code your little red! I have never seen such heaps of stuff in my life! I think I would want to come here every weekend. I cannot believe that you haven't taken a t home with you yet.

Do you think that these pillars are real from back in the day or do you think some clever woodcrafter has made and artificially aged them? If they are real I think you should take one and use it for a decorative piece in your house. It's kind of cool and you just never know when there were no longer be any available. And when I scroll to the next picture I actually seen how huge they were so perhaps I am wrong! Super cool with the dark shooter even though I would have a heart attack if I saw one coming at me. The longhorn cows here are very popular items to hang on your wall although why anybody would want a dead cow on their walls beyond me. The Vintage markets are just so much fun and I spy a trunk that I would dearly loved. I have a 4 of them standard around the house and I actually use them a lot. Hey! What is going on with that horse? I like the Chinese tables and chairs and the sunglasses are kind of cool and very vintage looking. Okay okay! Which one should you buy? You didn't actually show me which coffee bought. That is an amazing aerial view and what a place! I am so glad you came back here and feel free to go back there again any time! Thank you for being a part of Market Friday and taking the time and effort to put it together!

#MarketFriday loves you!

Thank you again my friend for your awesome words and comment and yes those wood pillars are real if i had a house or yard big enough i would be taking them all home i think if you ever made it here to these flea markets i would never get you out of here until to filled a few containers shippped to little red...lol :)

The photo with the aerial view if you look at the building this building has about another 2 or 3 floors of antiques in there which i am planning to go back and see and do Part 3 of Vintage Markets :)

I love those big flea markets sir hangin! did you buy one of those stands?
