I almost felt I was with you on your amazing journey, using ski lifts etc. You really described it all so well and your photographs are lovely.
I have hiked in our magnificent Drakensberg and slept in Lesotho so we had to use our passports. One hike we were caught in a thundering storm and survived!
Think I'll blog that experience today!

You should definitely do it. I haven't been caught in a thundering yet as I don't go when the weather doesn't seem to be stable because I am too scared. Very often we go high in the mountains and there are no places to hide so it would be dangerous.
