Today is a Xmas day. I got invite yesterday from my oldest friend for celebrate Christmas after 15 hours. I definitely participate that moment because I'm a socialize person. I'm learning different cultures as well. So Merry Xmas to you all steemians. Today morning I'm going to share another beautiful destination when I traveled Peacock hill in Sri Lanka.

After see above image you can take imagine how much height this peacock hill. But anyone has better advantage. It is that you can get to the foot of the mountain with your own vehicle. But our friend decided to walked to the top without vehicle. We believe our foot steps.

The road kept natural shape. That's better for keep naturalize looks to this area. I looked corner of the top of mountain has waterfall. But we couldn't see that waterfall. Our main purpose was climbed to of the Monaragala mountain.

We entered to the forest area.

Then we walked through huge pines forest. There are so many big pine trees. I've found lot of pine forest passed where we climbed more mountains in Sri Lanka. That's common characteristic I explored.

Some of villagers said us please be safe from snakes. With wet condition of this places living toxic once there. Fortunately we didn't see any kind of snakes.

We slowly reached top of the mountain. There was lot of bunches of Mana plants. Sometimes walked through mana plants very difficult. But after reach destination we all be satisfy. We all humans. We love to achieve every dreams when we hoped.

It is a mountain which is about 30 minutes journey away from the beautiful surroundings of Monaragala. 1 km long road in front of Mahaweli Seya of Kotmale Doragala Tea Factory From there it goes further south. After about 4 km you can reach the foot of the Monaragala mountain.

The Monaragala mountain is one of the most spectacular places in Kothmale, and the top of the hill is the Kothmale Reservoir, Gampola Town and Pussellawa Town.

The height of the mountain is like 1513 m from sea level. You have to see the height. The Monaragala mountain at the foot of the Kotmale reservoir is one of the highest mountain peaks in the Sri Lanka.

That's the point to see world end place. But I didn't go corner of these stone because I felt weird feeling. But lot of hikers reach to destination point for see tremendous scenery. However I never forget to captured surrounding area as well.

I turned my eye to other side. Wow.... There are so many villages seemed. Some of roads nicely shown top of the hill. I felt I'm a lucky man to see such a marvelous scenes. I was bird temporary. I felt I was fly over the sky. After take our meals and then stay few hours there for captures others here. Then we took our polythene and plastics our bags for put better places down. We are serious nature lovers. Try to provide good message to community. Thanks for visiting.
