What a beautiful Lake. Your photos are simply stunning! My daughter has tamed the squirrels in my backyard to come and take nuts from her hand. They're a little more particular then the ones you saw. The ones here only like my daughter! This is a wonderful post.

She must be very nice to them :) But I guess that they like her as she gives them food :) I have never came this close to a squirrel. Animals usually run away from me and I also don't like to bother them so this was a nice surprise to see it this close :)

Yeah the food is a major friendship maker! I don't have the patience that it takes to sit and wait for them to trust me. Although it does seem that once you've made friends with one, they teach their next generation that it's okay to be friendly with the humans.
