Having done both. I really prefer the older cities. I grew up in Southern California so everything always had to be just so. I spent 7 yr in St Louis, MO . Wonderful older buildings and great history.

I also like the older cities. Actually, I've never lived in a 'new' city.
Have you been to Prague? If not, you must go! It's the most beautiful city :)
I have not. The only other countries I have been to besides my own is Mexico and Canada. I don't consider my trips to Mexico even visiting. They were always to Tijuana. I have yet to leave North America 😢
Prague is on my 'must see' list. I love what I can see through pictures.
Oh, I hope you will visit Europe soon. I've never been to the US to be honest but I can imagine it is quite different here. If you ever come, let me know and I will show you around :)
