It's time for us to move on. Over the course of several posts, I have shared and shared with you, my friends, pictures of mountain scenery near our overnight stay. All because of the fact that it is very beautiful and I took many pictures. I wanted you to see most of what I photographed there, because not everyone has the opportunity to go to the mountains, and this beauty is worth seeing as many people as possible.
So, after breakfast, we packed up our camp, packed all our belongings in our backpacks and moved on down the mountain road. As I wrote earlier, the bright sunshine of the morning quickly hid behind the clouds and the far end of our journey was hidden in the fog. However, when we climbed a little higher, the fog receded a little, though it was still gloomy.
After resting, again, the difficult way up was very difficult until the required breathing rate appeared again. However, as it is with so many people, part of the group (among them was myself, so I was able to take photos of those who fell a little behind) broke away from the rest and went forward. Then we made our first halt on a mountain road.
After a short halt, we moved on. Our path was very scenic. We walked over beautiful mountain valleys, and fog-covered mountains could be seen in the distance.
I still want to talk about one moment. Before climbing to the highest peak of the ridge we traveled, Pip Ivan Marmarosky, we first understood why we had to register with the local branch of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine. There we met two armed border guards who were now crossing their border area (we were approaching the border with neighboring Romania). We thought we would be ordered to show our passports, which each of us had taken because we had been warned, but the border guards did not. I think it was clear with us that we are local tourists. And if we were to cross the border by accident, we would already be dealing with Romanian border guards who would no longer be so kind to us. And so we had a nice chat and went to different directions.
After that, we started the ascent to the top depicted in the photo. There we left our heavy backpacks on the mountain and 300 meters to Mount Pip Ivan we overcame like the free birds. But this I will tell you in one of their upcoming posts.
