At the start of this year i went to Beijing china. i am greek so Europe so i had to the visa procedure. I have been in around 8-9 countries in Europe so i am not a newbie :p
when i went for the visa i had to write a lot of info about me, where i am gonna stay and the most stupid thing i ever saw. I had to write what i was gonna do and go when i am in china.. How the f@@@ i am suppose to know that? Sure we all make some generic plans but if you have booked a tour guide or sorts you can't know exactly how you gonna spent your days here.
Thankfully because we are cool people, another greek that worked here told me just to write down famous temples and attractions for each day :p
On the plane, before entering Thailand you have to fill in a form
he had that too and they told us we need to keep that form and give it back when it's time to take the plane for our country. That was also a bit weird and stupid for me cause it was a tiny yellow paper like a sticker that i was supposed to not lose it in an unknown environment were everything can happen and depending on amount of days and place-places you gonna be it turns more difficult to keep it safe :P
Oh, you had to write it down for every single day? Crazy, isn't it? If I travel, at some days I just do nothing special and only relax. :)
It's the exact same when you go to Thailand.
so that's a thing in all asian countries i suppose ( maybe in every country that need a visa?)
imagine to stay let's say for a month and you have this sticker in your wallet and someone steals it :P you are doomed. there are so many ways this sticker may end up lost :P
No, in Malaysia and Indonesia that wasn't required.
