Blang Kulam Waterfall

Finally this post submitted, I'm really happy. Why? I have to admit that I live in remote area in North Aceh, where the internet signals are very poor. How sad I'm, this causes my posts always pending. Lol

In the first post, I would like to share about the beauty nature around me. Ya, it's about traveling that I've done today.

Blang Kulam waterfall is one of tourist attractions that you should enjoy when visiting North Aceh, Indonesia. Its located in Buloh Beurghang, Kuta Makmur district. This place is suitable for you who love adventure.

To reach the location is very easy. If your starting point is from Lhokseumawe, then please go to Buloh Blang Ara. After arriving at the intersection, go straight to Buloh Beurghang, past the second intersection and up to the third intersection which is the mosque on the left and you must turn right, then go straight to Buloh Beurghang market and turn left. After entering this road, you'll pass the palm plantation. About 8Km you'll find the location. Unfortunately there is no marker board of this location.

To get the waterfall area, you've to go down by a lot of stairs. Maybe more than 200 stairs.. The stairs are not so safe at all. There is the broken edge and slippery if rain. So you should wear a safe costume, like a comfortable shoes. In addition, visitting Blang Kulam waterfall is recommended on holiday or weekend, because the area really quiet on work day and no one keep yor motorcycle or car in the parking area.

This place is suitable for you who like adventure, but should have enough stamina. Not suitable for elderly and children under 9 years old. Nevertheless, many small children are brought by their parents to this location.

This location is peace and beautiful, have the chilly weather, and cold water flowing directly to the Strait of Malacca. But unfortunately, this place is scattered a lot of trash by visitors and food vendors. Thier awareness of environmental hygiene is still poor. Huuft
