On Location: Hoover Dam, Nevada/Arizona Border.
The Hoover Dam is only a half an hour or so from Las Vegas and sits at the border of Nevada and Arizona. The arch bridge in the background is the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, dedicated as a memorial to a former Nevada governor and an NFL player for the Arizona Cardinals who left his lucrative sports gig and enlisted in the US Army. This is such a magnificent place to experience, you can almost taste the history of all that went into building these fantastic modern marvels.
I have never been. That's a great shot though!
Cool story about the bridge too, didn't know that.
Thanks a lot @doggedfi. It is well worth a visit if you're ever in the vicinity. The bridge is beyond incredible in person as well as the backstory of its dedication and its construction too. That and the Dam itself are such awe inspiring masterpieces.

Wow civil engineering is intense stuff. I dunno how the river feels about the Hoover Dam...maybe one day it’s gonna bust out!
