Dear Steemit friends and followers,

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.

Today, however, I prepared something special for you as I will take you to the birthplace of one of the most famous figures ever born in the Czech Republic, the renowned neurologist and the founder of the psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud.

Freud was born on May 6, 1856 in the little Moravian town of Pribor and the house where this prominent figure was born is still there, currently serving as a museum dedicated to Freud. The museum hosts several exhibitions that provide a unique insight into what an ordinary life of this extraordinary man looked like.

In front of the house, there even is a life-size copper sculpture of the legendary Freud´s sofa where he examined his patients.

Owned and governed by the municipal authority, the museum is open every day except for Monday and the entrance fee is just 40 CZK ( 2 USD) per person.

And the interesting thing is entry fees is too cheap, almost free.

Yep, even I was surprised to learn such a low entrance fee... It sure is accessible to anyone....

Hi @czechglobalhosts, This time you introduced most memorable location in Czech of Sigmund Freud´s House. It's most impressive place and we have get global memories from this location after visiting. Copper sculpture of the legendary Freud´s so fabulous to see.

entrance fee is just 40 CZK ( 2 USD) per person.

Yep...It's very low cost for visit museum and you can get lot of experience through seeing. I noted and kept my visiting location in Czech.

Freud gave us a method, even if some of his hypotheses are wrong. To call psychoanalysis unscientific is to not understand where the philosophy of science was back then. Neo Kantian philosophy was very popular in the late 19th century. Even logical positivism was Kantian in a way. Psychoanalysis was developed under the realization that you can't just study data without the use of human concepts not found in observation. The way we understand the world consciously and unconsciously is very important. The a priori. It's hard for the Anglo world to understand this and so declares anything which tries to go beyond data as unscientific. Freud's language persists because it is a useful way to organize the stream of data the senses present us. It just works.

Before graduating from high school, a chance, found that "dream analysis," Freud's writings in the students home. After devoured by home, also do a lot of reading notes. Life has completed half of the day, he took the children and I went to Mr. Freud's home. I finally saw "dream analysis," Mr. Freud's couch and he goes. A little excited, a little depressed. Excited that Freud and his descendants still so good, top. Dismay, he and his descendants no longer live in their home of the Czech Republic. I bought some souvenirs and have a picture of Freud T-shirt back. I have time I will have read his book. Thank you, Mr. Freud, you give us the dream analysis and other!

Oh! What a good piece of information my friend, I did not know that Freud was born in the Czech Republic, another point in favor of the wonderful country you show us, thanks Tomás for sharing these great information and continue raising culture and knowledge! Regards!

It is a great way to tribute our legendary people. He was really a great personality and surely deserves that honor. Organizing different exhibition and naming them to the life of that legendary man is amazing!
