So there's a myth that you can't get any good seedling apple trees unless you plant a bajillion seeds, then maybe one will be a good variety. Most apples are selected for flavor last (after storage ability, color, shape, etc.), but this person wants to breed apples for flavor.
I've watched a few of these so far, and they're very informative. For those who want to get into plant breeding, this is good stuff.
For those who don't want to get into plant breeding, maybe you will learn about some new varieties you'd like to try?
