Check It Out! My first adventure into capturing a tree being. This photo art is inspired by the work of Linda E. Law.
This beautiful Sugar Maple lives up the road at my friend's place. It has fascinated me since I first drove by along the road.
It weeps.
Several branches on this visibly healthy tree are split through and healed over.
The best guess we have is that sap leaks from an old branch location. A forester said it not harmful to the tree and it could live another 100 years.
It's a beauty that begs ya to climb it!
A trunk sillouette set against fresh green growth...
And another of its shadow...
Until next week... See the Trees!

great post @borrowedearth
Awesome!!! You can definitely see the echo of a tree Dryad in there if not its entire spirit!!
The woman up the road was excited she saw many creatures like a totem pole.
Wow what an interesting tree!!
Faces in trees, almost modern art of it's own rights @borrowedearth
What a lovely tree with history and character, well photographed.
I was completely tickled it came out this way the first run...
It felt more like a gift than a creation. I noticed an eye in the original...made a mirror image and stuck them together with a Wow!
A powerful tree what energy 💯🐒
