Magnolia is a very popular plant and used to beautify gardens and terraces thanks to the splendid hairs and large tulip or star flowers, with colors ranging from white to pink or pink.
The genus consists of about 80 species of flowering, rustic, semi-evergreen, evergreen, or deciduous trees, and very ornamental shrubs. Magnolia originates in the southern regions of the United States, Japan, China and Korea; most species can develop without any problems in our country, and generally find a place in many gardens; in many botanical gardens and Italian parks you can find centenary specimens of spectacular dimensions.
It is a plant that requires exposure to sunshine or partial shade and shelter from strong winds; we must not forget, though, that magnolia is resistant to cold and low temperatures, it also fears late frosts, which can damage flowers and buds
