Tree Tuesday: Cypress with Exposed Roots

Beautiful Cypress in the middle of the River

I recently visited a park situated along the Withlacoochee River while passing through the area. After parking and walking down toward the river I was greeted by this large Cypress in the middle of the river at the bottom of the stairs.

Almost every section of the Withlacoochee I've explored has been very scenic and this new (to me) park didn't disappoint.

Really nice photographs. Glad I stopped by.

Thanks for stopping by @k4r1nn, really happy you like them!

I love that pic. The trunk is a peice of art growing out of the water. Amazing :)

It really is...so mysterious and ancient looking, many thanks @cyberblock!

I don't know why but I really like threes with exposed roots, they looks very curious to me :P

I really enjoy them too @awareentity!

Breath taking place! So dreamy and chill. I wish to visit one day! thanks for sharing it with us!

What a fine place to be. Those trees are impressive. Good choice to stop and check it out. Great captures amigo.

Looks like a nice park. Cypress trees are fascinating, with those odd roots. Up here, trees die in standing water. Nice shots!

Sure looks a great park to visit and love that tree its base has such character

Thanks @tattoodj, the exposed roots really give it so much amazing texture! It was a short visit but that sure was a beautiful section of the river, there was a rope swing I was tempted to test out, maybe next time

Sounds and looks like a place well worth returning to

And rope Swings bring back memories from when I was young would be so tempting for me also

oh it was hard to resist for sure!

At MY age with with my achy bones I probably should resist but I know me well enough that if my wife wasn't around I would give it a go LOL

haha, you're never too old too have a bit of fun...it just hurts a lot more the next morning

Man I love trees! Thank you for sharing, that cypress is gorgeous
