Tree Tuesday - The Tree Graveyard

in #treetuesday7 years ago

I saw many posts today with really beautiful trees. My trees photos can't compete with them.

That's why I'll show you something different.

When we visited Moraine Lake in Lake Louise I took some interesting clicks.

Check them out.

They died high up in the mountains and felt down the slopes to the lake.

The tree graveyard I would call this place.

See you soon.

@oldtimer you did again a great and unique post. Love the name "tree graveyard". I wonder why the trunks are not picked up from water. Is the purpose maybe a natural damp or do you maybe know the reason?

At first I thought this graveyard was some beavers hard at work, haha. That tree graveyard is quite the natural phenomenon.

@oldtimer,
Actually it looks like a graveyard! But I need to add something more, a graveyard build by the nature! As always you did, again I could see an amazing photography from you! Really appreciate your effort!

Cheers~

I love old drift wood its so ascetically pleasing and smooth.

NICE WORK ,THANKS FOR SHARING PLEASE FOLLOW BACK ;)

you are a good writer..

Nice this pict friend, i like it

I thought it might've been the beavers, haha :P

Fabulous one!!!
why should you think your trees photos can't compete with them?

No need to cut the trees for firewood just collect them from the lake :)

Do not be shy. You have lovely photos. Dramatic trees. Cool and autumn from these images. I love this time of year, when fresh and nature prepares for sleep.

Amazing place to share here @oldtimer!

Interesting approach to tree theme. To see my tree visit me at my blog:)

Wow, such an awesome place. Especially the weird-looking hill/mountain(?) on the first photo. That looks amazing!

You might not compete with other photographers when it comes to living trees, but you definitely have cool photos of dead ones.

Beautiful... I love the sun bleached color of the trees and the blue water!

Why are you think so ? You're truly superb @oldtimer. Some thing extraordinary in you post.
I really like your Picture.
Just wow.

(I upvoted & follow you now) How and why did the trees die? "killed" by humans? for wood? Do they really remain there in the water?

Save tree

O man that honestly looks sad!

Hehe very creative take on this challenge!

pheww that was really interesting to explore today very great photography there by you :)

The tree graveyard is such an apt name for this area makes for such interesting shots though

WoW! Have never seen anything like it. That pile of rocks is strangely beautiful too! A bit like a pyramid to the graveyard

And now you know where to get all the wood in the world incase of a power outtage and the cold WINTER strikes.. however I have no idea how far this is from where you live. Is this a known stop? How did you know to even go there?

FAKE! This is way to mystically beautiful to be a true landscape. ;-)

These are some incredible pictures! I loved it.

Tree graveyard is an appropriate name! Great shots and a different perspective for Tree Tuesday.

There is a lake in Alice Lake Provincial Park called Stump Lake and it too is a tree graveyard. Hence the name. Nature is amazing how it takes care of it's dead and naturally and beautifully returns it to the earth.
