- Mighty "Tall" Pines -
One could think that the spruce was the main tree of Scandinavia, but it is not.
The Pinus Sylvestris is and it's a tree in the pedigree and family of the Pine. The Swedish name is the "Tall" tree or the (Pinus Sylvestris) also known as the Pine tree in English! So, "Tall" can describe the tree in more ways than one!

Very tall pine. We have a species of pine that has very similar bark and looks just as knarly as this old tree. It is called Yellow Pine. Thanks for sharing
Hi and thanks. You get curious, where are you on earth? :-)
Hello @verber88. I am located in the North West corner of United States. The state of Idaho. We have lots of trees here also. I've been looking at some of your other photos. They are very nice. I look forward to seeing more of your homeland.
