Interesting thought. I would say it is an interesting experiment which may or may not succeed as crypto tech is still in its infancy. Just because Bitcoin was the first big one, doesn't mean it will survive till mass adoption as there will be newer coins that transact at higher speeds and at lower prices. So, the next half decade will be very interesting.
Good point of view, just take note bitcoin is the reserve coin :)
Fair enough, Bitcoin would be the new gold equivalen as a reserve currency but it would really help BTC's case if they had lower fees and faster transaction times still. It is a very real risk that another coin will overtake the market share that Bitcoin has, especially when investor sentiment reduces over time as transaction fees become higher in relation to its Fiat equivalent.
They already drop the price a week ago
Fair enough haha :D
Lol
Added to that, 2 very big news coming in bitcoin updates! Segwit and LN
I hope Segwit and LN come quickly as it has been a while since announced, I remember talks of it even since around Oct last year. I think if these two arrive promptly, it will give BTC the boost it needs.
They just started this January
