Today I finally got my Trezor which I ordered few days ago :) Here is how it looks:
If you never heard about Trezor, you have to check their website. They are producing very special hardware which are capable of keeping safely your private keys (from Bitcoins or other crypto) but that is not all! You can actually sign transactions in a way, that your private keys are never leaving your trezor. It is like spending money from your normal wallet almost without opening it :)
Another thing which I am really excited about is that Trezor can be also a password manager!
worked on a possibility to use a Trezor also for Steem! :) In next few days, I am going to also explore those options :)I didn't put a sticker of Steemit next to Trezor without a reason. Some time ago @svk and @xeroc
That would be all for this entry, but if we are speaking about security, just a short reminder:
- do not keep your funds on exchanges
- make sure, that you have a backup of your private keys
- make sure, that you have a backup of your Steem Password (if you will lose it, Steemit will not be able to help you!)

You will like it, I keep my BTC and ETH on mine, stores passwords too so you can store your steem password on there as well.
