This is such a long post, I didn't expect it coming from you, spider. It must take a lot of extra efforts to put it all together, story, video, drawing, tutorial... all in one post.
That Mr Fox's design is nicely done, he looks both friendly and cunning at the same time. Hijinks is a cute cat. And James really looks rather timid, though I guess by the end of his journey, he would come out of his shell considerably.
I want to read more about these fellas, and I would expect lots of shenanigans and cute animals in the journey.

Whoa I love the characters and the story so far! It makes me feel a little like "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe's" beginning, and kinda like a new version of Little Red Riding Hood!

I love this entire thing, the story, the studies the characters.
It's funny as we must all have a children's book or a sort of comic adventure in us, we artitst. I'm always thinking the same that some characters will be put out together in a series of adventures, but I've only toyed with it.
In my latest series of paintings I'm sort of telling a story, but not in that same dialogue character's continually showing up sort of way.
