You’re Only As Good As The Company You Keep

I just had a great talk with my brother on the phone. We’ve exchanged ideas about money, dreams, travel, Steemit... basically, we’ve discussed life in general. I remember feeling inspired as I was listening to him talk. And couple minutes after the conversation ended, Out of nowhere, it felt as if as my cup of motivation was overflowing. I could almost hear the voice my purpose reminding me of where I was set to go and the things that needed to be done in the meantime. Then, I recalled not feeling this motivated and inspired in a long time.

That experience reminded me of how greatly beneficial and wise it is for one to seek the company of highly motivated people. Jim Rohn once said in one of his talks, I’m paraphrasing here, if you want to build a successful team, find you those people that are already motivated; the people you don’t have to keep pumping up every single day. And you’re on your way to win. Find the people that know how to generate their own motivation. In turn, it’ll help you in preserving your own healthy dose of motivation.

A wise man once said, if you wanna get heat, fly close to the sun.

it's hard sometimes to just leve those old friends that like to complain, those energy drainers, it's not easy but do it anyway

For some reasons I commented but #steemit is acting up.
