For a couple of years, @ph1102 and myself (@achim03) are setting goals that we want to reach by the end of the year. Zoltan has already reached his goals for 2024 but I'm still quite far from it. What about you?

Other than comments made which is part of my activity goal, I will probably hit all my goals. What's left is my posting goal with about 10 or so posts to hit the goal for this year, but I also have the goal of publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of the year in this broader goal, and I won't know if that will be accomplished till the last week of the year.
The other ongoing goal that is rather on edge but I will accomplish it is my SPS staking goal.
There is also the HBD in Savings goal, which is a multi-year goal, mostly for next year.
I had 8 goals this year, many of them not for the entire year, 5 of them are already accomplished, 1 is practically mainly for next year, which means there are only 2 left, the ones I told you about.
Man that's a nice percentage of goals that you will achieve. I reduced the number of goals to two, to be able to focus my energy better.
I like your focus on the 2 goals. Something I should do myself more of, with these goals. But it's true, they don't have the same weight, and some were more important than others and some were easier to complete than others.

My goal is to build as much value as I can on Hive and Level 2 tokens while having as much fun as possible. So it's a very "loose" goal. But easy to achieve.
Made easier by the very low price of Hive earlier this year. When I bought as much as I could afford.

My goal this year was to reach 2500 HP, I'm not going to achieve it. I've had less time than I thought with my studies and priorities are priorities, but even so I'm happy with how things are going.
It's important to sort out our priorities... And it's awesome to hear that you are happy with your results!

I could say that I have not achieved my goals in Hive and it would be true but I am not going to complain because I am doing very well with both Bitcoin and Solana.
Do you have any income sources on these two chains? Or do you buy mainly?
I have been buying Bitcoin for a long time and on Solana I focus on investing in DEFI. I also use DEFI to get Bitcoin on other chains as well as ETH

I really should be better at setting goals. A good idea is to track my progress over the last year and try to increase it this year by 10 - 20%.
My goal for 2024 is to look at my account and say, wow that's a lot. :-)
I have to say that setting goals really helped me to progress. In addition to that I can come back to earlier posts and see where I was. That's a big motivator :-)

My first goal for 2024 was to achieve 10000 HP and I reached it in July. I set a new goal in 12000 HP and I reached it again in October. 😁 My next step is 15000 HP, but this time I want to take it slower, no rush, no pressure.

I am pretty much sure I could not reach my 2024 hive goal. My goal is to have 11.500 HP, and I lost all my opportunities due to some various misfortune. The last one was last month, which my worker got a fatal accident. I spent my last saving to compensate that lost.
The only possible condition I could get is that if somewhen between 15-24 December 2024 hive drops back below 0.2$ and I get my rent payment from my tenant. That's the last opportunity I can think of... But hey, crypto is not working like that lol
On the other hand, despite quantitatively I fail this year, I think qualitatively I manage to get what I want this year.
Anyway Congrats to @ph1102 and others who have accomplished their target.

My goal was 12k HP by the end of the year and I'm sure I'll achieve it. I also have the goal of putting 300 HBD in savings which I will achieve. Those were my main goals and I know I'll achieve them.
It's great when you can say that you will manage to reach your target. Well done!

My Goald in HP for the year was 5000. There is still December, it'll be +500 HP. But when I achieve it I'll get the new bee badge, evolving my bee level. Let's Gooo! We could have a Liotes Badge too...

I didn't have any specific numerical target set at the beginning of the year. All I aimed for was to post daily without fail with everything powered up. I guess in that sense, I have achieved exactly what I set out to do! 🤣

Hmm Hive for me has always been a hobby, and I personally don't want to set targets because it creates expectations and then I might stress myself out. Curation is something that I can't really control, so I prefer to enjoy my hobby as it is. :)
That's a nice way of looking at it. I like to set goals because it challenges me and I find it fun. Well if I don't reach them, it's not the end of the world so I dont' stress too much :-)

I set my hive goals for 5,000 HP and Top 100 in Rising Star. So far, I've completed one of the two goals: being in the top 100 in the Rising Star Ranking. My HP is still so far behind... The miscalculation of daily post to post when I have a free time moment 😂. On the positive side, it means I'm busy with my irl job 👍. Have a nice day everyone and hope we can meet our goals together~

In my case I can't reach my goal for this year without investment of Fiat currency cuz I need 1k HP more for it. So considering that I'm not active daily and not posting posts every day it looks impossible. But on the other side of hand this goal goes to 2025 and let's see how quickly I can do it ;)

I reached my 12K HP goal as well, and already surpass it, and my next year goal will be 15K Hp which was my overall hive goal, maybe if the Hive price keep rising, then I switch back to my HBD goal which I postponed since the downtrend of Hive started, especially when it was below $0.2. : )

I like the idea of "adaptable" goals, according to how the market will work! In the HIVE/HBD case, it is necessary, especially if you want to do both!

My 2024 goal was simple and i accomplished around half of the year, it was to become a dolphin and I did… i wanted now to get closer to 10k hp as possible but i guess that will be a 2025 goal to get to 10k

I'm not going to reach my goal of 10K HP, which is why I lowered it to 7K HP about three months ago, because I knew it was impossible. The important thing is to have a goal and try to achieve it

I haven't created any goals, I think that's why I got a bit discouraged with the hive. I'm getting back to posting today and I'm going to think of a cool goal to keep me active in the community. 😄
Setting goals helped me a lot just to have a goal on the journey. I tend to be too ambitious most of the time but if I dont' reach them, it's not a big problem either :-)

I sure did, and beat most of them already. Set a goal for 5K HP, that's come and gone and should reach 6K HP in the next week!
Also had a goal to pile up 2K HSBI, I now have around 3.2K. It's been a great year here on Hive!
I joined Saturday Savers to help me reach those goals, it really helped!

Congrats for reaching and passing your goals. It helps to keep a kind of discipline and Saturday Savers is a good way for it. I try to make a monthly post regarding my goals and it keeps my activity orientated and motivates me to reach my goals.

I have set goals before, but not this year. I am currently not as actively involved with Hive and am happy with whatever progress I make. I do, however, continue to reinvest whatever income I manage to earn. I probably spend more time playing Splinterlands than anything else, but that is usually only three to six hours per week.
Well, hive isn't only about growing bags but also about having fun and playing SL can be fun indeed :-)

I have set some yearly goals for 2024 and all of them are on track. My HP goal has been reached, LEO goal will be reached this LPUD, and my HBD interest will cover my HBD goal.

No, i won't be able to reach my set goals. I am way far behind on Hive, HBD and LEO goals.
I did set higher goals for 2024 and was on track in the first half, but second half has not been way slow.
But, I am happy with where i am today, will keep pushing this month though.

I didn't set any particular goals, but maybe I would go to Hive Fest, which was fine.
But as far as crypto finance was concerned, there were no goals either, more of a wish to go up, and, apparently, now, at the end of the year, it's come true :)
Next year? What do I know, except that I'm retiring, and maybe there will be more time for Hive? But, according to other colleagues, they say that retirees are the busiest and have no time for anything :)

My original goals had been to continue growing the FC Community, but life apparently had its own plans for my family and I! So that flew out the window. At this point, Hive will just be for a bit of online socialization. I think I'll be happier and more at peace this way, leaving time for the bigger priorities in life. I'll let my career milestones and health/fitness goals (in particular, being consistent!) be the ones that I reach over time.
