Before continuing with the next chapter of our legendary story, we are proud to announce that after 104 editions, our token "SECRET" is still stable, and you can still earn it by participating in the adventure—by commenting, giving a !TIPS, sharing ideas or secrets on HIVE, reblogging, rehiving, or even voting (which we’d appreciate, as we convert the HBD earnings from publications into "SECRET" tokens).

We are still working on reaching 17,000 @ecency points to request a delegation of 200 HP for 90 days. A few extra points to help promote our little game wouldn't be a luxury. ^^

In addition to earning "SECRET" tokens, you can also win !TIPS for your participation.

As you can see from the following screenshots, we have 672 SECRET in circulation, and 721 are listed on the market, which will allow us to mint if we run out of tokens to distribute. So, we have a bit of a head start; the SECRET tokens are listed at 0.09 swap.hive per unit, and this is not likely to change (we have already struggled to keep it stable for this long).

We are selling 22 SECRET at 0.9 per unit (this is not a profitable investment) if you want to help us. If you purchase them, it would simply allow us to acquire some !TIPS tokens. For now, we are trying to gradually accumulate 240 BEER tokens.

Regarding points, we have 6,232 out of the 17,000 we want to accumulate on @ecency (possibly a bit more to allow for occasional promotion).

LEGENDS STORY

The legends advance, their footsteps faintly echoing in the vast silence, each echo quickly fading as if the darkness itself was playing hide and seek with the sound. Their hearts beat in unison, a dull and steady rhythm, like that of ancient drums, reminding them with every beat that they are still alive... and that now is not the time to faint. Yet, a shadow of doubt begins to creep into their minds. Are they truly the seekers, or just overly daring tourists, guided by a force greater than themselves and a capricious GPS?

As they delve deeper, the earth's warmth starts to make itself known. The tunnel walls ooze with a heavy, almost suffocating humidity, and the air becomes increasingly thick, as if even the atmosphere is saying, "Are you sure you want to continue? If I were you, I wouldn’t..." At some point, one of the group members stops abruptly. His eyes, though blind, seem fixed on something the others cannot perceive.

At first, there is only silence, a silence so deep it almost screams, "You are sinking, literally and metaphorically." Then, very faintly, a sound is heard, an indistinguishable murmur, almost imperceptible, yet strangely familiar. It’s like a forgotten melody, a song from the shadows. They look at each other, uncertain, but in this realm where sight is useless, it’s their instincts (and perhaps a bit of paranoia) that speak.

Their guide, an old miner, a being whose wrinkles tell of centuries spent in these depths (or very long days), tilts his head, as if listening to an old friend. "We’re close," he says simply. "Close to what we seek... or to what is seeking us." And on that last point, no one really wants to know who is seeking whom.

Tension rises. Each step brings them closer to something invisible yet tangible, something that seems to be watching them, weighing them, judging them. The light from their torches, already dim, seems to fade even more, as if the darkness itself is closing in around them, trying to smother their fragile glow, or to whisper to them, "Good thing you didn’t invest too much in these lamps; they wouldn’t have lasted anyway."

Finally, they arrive at a vast cavern, a space so immense that its contours are lost in the darkness. In the center, a black stone, smooth as glass, emits a faint pulse of light. It’s not a natural light, but something much older, much deeper... and far more unsettling than any electricity bill.

The silence is total, the legends are frozen, hypnotized by what they see. There, before them, lies the secret they sought, the heart of darkness. But in finding it, they realize that this secret is not meant for them. It cannot be possessed, only respected. Or, if possible, left in peace and forgotten.

So, with deep respect (and a secret desire to leave quickly), they kneel before the stone, not to take it, but to honor it. They now know that some truths are not meant to be revealed, but to be kept in darkness. Their legends will survive, but they will not tell of what they found, for some secrets, the most precious ones, must remain buried for eternity. And also, because frankly, no one would believe them anyway.
