As we approach the last 24 hrs for entries, I would love to see a few more sneak in at the end. We have had several entries thus far, a few of which seem promising to pass the bar to the next round. I am not going to get into specifics on which ones I and other tribe members like best, or highlight any specifically in this post. Instead I am going to show all of you who haven't seen them, every accepted entry up until the time of this post.

@psylanthropistMultiple entries are allowed and encouraged, please enter as many times as you want, but your new entries must be significantly different from you previous ones.As you can tell from the pictures, there has been a lot of artistic energy being transmitted about @tribesteemup right now, but I really would like to see more.
Personally, I would like to see some more tribal oriented designs using the Steemit logo. Bows and arrows, feather apparel, bonfires, and general native american Indian appeal is highly encouraged. Also do not forget that a big part of what TSU supports is helping the EARTH, so do not be afraid to use the earth and/or the cosmos either. Freedom through anarchy symbolism would not be a bad idea either.
If you have been working on a project, need more time to finish, and have been worried about the deadline, please do not rush. The comments will still be open one day after the entry post pays out before we announce the top five entries, to make sure everyone gets their design in, and to maximize the number of entries/exposure for other artists.
Based on the current value of these first two articles related to this contest, I conservatively estimate the prize total for this contest will be more like 40 or 50 SBD, or maybe even more than that!! Definitely more than the 30 SBD I promised as a minimum originally. You can thank @kennyskitchen & @tribesteemup for that.
I also wanted to mention that there was one entry that was not accepted because of plagiarism. I will not name the person here, and I think there is a bit of a language barrier, so it could have been a misunderstanding of what the contest is, but someone tried to use one of the designs by @eco-alex that is now used for TSU logo article separators (pictured below).
Please do not use elements of other artist's logos, TSU or otherwise. This contest is for original TSU logo art only, no tracing.
Otherwise I like the effort for the designs we are seeing so far and a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who put the time and energy in to enter this contest. Your support of Tribe Steem Up is greatly appreciated. Blessings everyone & stay tuned into the right frequencies. We are all looking forward to seeing the final entries!

Well it isn't completely your job, but you do have a say in who gets in the top five. And to quote Princess Leah, "Its not over yet!" It has been a good turn out so far though. Thank you for your support of this project.
lol,, right! .. ill be sure to let you know my favourites.. I think depending on the day and my mood i would use a different logo! which is probably why its good to have a few to choose from!

This is not directly related to the logo creations but I've been seeing people using the Tribesteemup tag a lot recently. I've scrolled down the Trending page and read a few interesting publications. Would I have to sign up somewhere or could I simply use the tag to post some of my content?

hey! so glad to see so much energy around all of this and i can't wait to see what comes of this!
personally, as we aren't native american in our "tribe", i respectfully disagree with this as it's cultural appropriation:
i wouldn't feel comfortable using a logo as a part of tribesteemup taking the native american tribal headdress as a design! thanks <3!
There was not too much direct Native America symbolism in the top 8, and I do see where your coming from. I was mainly using Native American culture as an example to further explain the tribal feel I was looking for in the designs. I should have mentioned Aztec and Myan cultures as well, they had some amazing tribal symbolism. I personally support the way of life the natives were pursuing prior to colonial invasion, and would of course never want to disrespect that in any way. However a combination of cultural elements helping the Earth and humanity is exactly what TSU is about.
Still, native headdress's were customized by tribal leaders as these logos are also also being customized under the direction of tribe leaders, so I do not feel like it is that far off. I wonder how may members of TSU are part Native American. My family blood line is a bit of a mystery, however many people have told me I have native features based on the tone of my skin color, and certain facial distinctions. I respect your view on this, and will keep it in my mind moving forward with the contest. thanks for your detailed reply! i can definitely hear where you're coming from and i, too, have the utmost respect for the natives that i have read about/met in this lifetime, and have started to "rewild" and learn about native uses of plants and ways of life in order to better live my off grid lifestyle.
the issue for me just relates to, yes, drawing from earth tribal traditions and honoring it completely, yet also recognizing the "stereotypical" native symbols, but not appropriating them. i'll write you further on discord as needed. thanks again for the great discourse and blessings to you too!
