Hello beautiful people
Welcome to another TribeSteemUp Curation, where I get to showcase some of the great Articles that the tribe members created and that really embody what the Tribe stands for.
The TribeSteemUp community, was created by @kennyskitchen. It is a Community Abundance Generator which supports authors who write articles that look at ways in which we can become more empowered and create a more peaceful and free world.The authors that were chosen to become part of the TribeSteemUp community are all writing content of high quality, which are based on the following topics:
| Community Empowerment | Love | Original Music | Esotericism |
| Healthy Recipes | Psychedelics | Truth | Permaculture |
The TribeSteemmUp community also has 8 Pillars/Principles that each member has agreed to adhere by and you can find The 8 Pillars of TribeSteemUp at the end of this post
I have 16 articles to share with you all today, articles that are all about inspiring us and motivating us to become more aware in our daily lives. For me life is all about learning, evolving and being mindful in all that we do. By coming together and engaging with one another we can all share our wisdom and empower one another. We can create the world in which we all wish to live. There are a few articles here that are sharing plant wisdom, something that at one time seem as though it may be lost to us but now is making a very welcome comeback. I for one am always eager to learn the healing properties of the many plants that live around us. Happy reading and remember to show your appreciation by upvoting and commenting. You can go one step further by following the TribesteemUp Curation Trail, this way way you are supporting all the great authors who are creating quality content.
COCONUT OIL AS REMEDY FOR JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING: BUT IS IT SUSTAINABLE?
@riverflows
Coconut oil is such a wellness 'fad' ingredient in everything from vegan treats to moisteurizers at the moment that I'm reluctant to even post anything on it - I feel as if we've hit saturation point. Thing is, we use it all the time, and it works. It's replaced most of my cosmetic products, and is also used in our household for medicinal purposes. Considering the 'Alternative Medicine Challenge' hosted by @naturalmedicine and @ecotrain this week (find the challenge here), coconut oil seemed like a good choice. The larger jars are fabulous for storing food in, so the packaging is not too bad earth wise, and it's certainly a natural medicine.
1 of 12 Natural Law Principles To Use to Create Unity And Keep Individuality
@in2itiveart
Creating Unity
This could be useful, not only for a marriage, a friendship or a family, but also for the work place or for creating Unity within a movement - like the Truth Movement, for example.
If we use a set of spiritual principles which are derived from Natural Law, in all of our interactions with each other, we could get along.
Inner Monarchy
The first and most important ingredient in this Alchemy would be to have a set of principles within which each individual is self-cleaning. Difficulties in relationships mirror in us that which we have not accepted or changed about ourselves, so having inner monarchy is imperative to having interdependent relationships with others vs. dependent relationships. If I am disturbed by another person, how I am not going to immediately blame them and want to get rid of them? - I must look at myself and find a way to work with the material.
Monsanto Paid for 'Science' Propaganda, Court Papers Reveal
@krnel
A corrupt groups that fronts for the chemical industry while having the word "Science" in its name was paid off by the chemical industry to battle negative press and science about the industry, including Monsanto's Roundup. They called on Monsanto to support them, and Monsanto obliged.
Emails between the American Council on Science and Health, or ACSH, and Monsanto, show the corrupted relationship between them.
“If a company like [Monsanto] won’t support us, then who will?” the head of the American Council on Science and Health wrote to a Monsanto scientist in 2015. A day later came the reply: “[T]he answer is yes…. [D]efinitely count us in!!”
Mangosteen Extract - Improved Brain Function, BiPolar, Depression, Schizophrenia and Alzheimers?
@artemislives
Straining and decanting my mangosteen extract, I was working in silence and calmly breathing life and strength into my tincture (as I tend to do) and speaking (ok - muttering) - repeating as a mantra, if you will - her strengths and all that she was created to achieve.
And so I whispered to her about all the mitochondria she would protect, the cancer cells she would vanquish and the immune systems she would naturally strengthen and enable. The frogs sang along with me outside and there was a beautiful feeling of peace and purpose, until my brain kicked in.
Lifehacks for the Mind # 5 | Substituting Scarcity-Thoughts & Replacing Self-Worth-Denial
@paradigmprospect
All of us carry some deeply ingrained patterns around with us. The viewpoints and convictions we have long started to make our own, even if they don't really serve us that well...
And often - despite their questionable nature - we're all too easily hanging on to them, consciously or unconsciously so, and then wonder why life and the challenges we are faced with seem so difficult to overcome. Maybe because we have ramped up the negativity in our minds so much that we forget there may be little resemblance to reality.
Wild, White Yarrow - Nature's Abundant First Aid, Medicine, Beauty and Seeds
@sagescrub
The wild yarrow has been leafing out all spring and is finally starting to bud and bloom around our homestead! I have grown to love yarrow so much over the past few years. This beautiful plant is one of the most useful wild, sustainable medicines that I have come to know and respect.
I am looking forward to sharing the season with Yarrow as she continues to bloom and excited about visiting some of our favorite Yarrow patches in the local mountains to harvest flowers and medicine. We are planning on making a surplus of Yarrow tincture this season for medicine, but also because we use it regularly in our oral hygiene and as an insect repellent. But of course Yarrow flowers make wonderful dried and fresh floral arrangements. I may even make some Yarrow beer again this year!

Two Years on Steem and 1k Followers -Time To Recap
@stortebeker
Today is my two-year steemversary! I wasn't exactly sure about the date, though I knew it was sometime early June, until I received the notification from various bots. At the same time, it was just today that I crossed the threshold of the 1000 followers. Of course both of these benchmarks mean only as much as you interpret into it: After all, what does a year mean anyway? And how many of those thousand people are actually following me, not to mention are still active on Steem? (Maybe a quarter?) Still, it's a reason to celebrate, or at least take a look at what I consider most important: My Journey on Steem So Far.
Building with rocks again | My 1st Garden Spiral comes alive!
@senorcoconut
Since moving to the forest, I've been refusing to buy any concrete blocks to buld any of the structures we have that require them... I mean we have rocks everywhere!
Use the rocks!
So here we go, as we do in this DiY world, we buikd things we need with what we have on hand... I guess it doesn't realky have to be all McGiver-like all the time, but hey that's my thing, I like the challenge!
We have a few store bought herbs waiting to be planted, so what better opportunity than now, to build a Herbs Spiral, I always wanted one since I've known of these.
Alternative Consumer Challenge: Week 1 Wrap Up, Spot SBI Prize! Due Date: June 15th!
@naturalmedicine
We've loved reading what Steemians are doing to be conscious, alternative consumers, being aware of what they can do to protect the health of the Earth as well as themselves - often, doing both at the same time! From growing your own spirulina (who needs expensive supplements) to using snails as skin care (yes - that happened! Love it!), you guys did not disappoint. Thanks so much for the Week 1 entries - two of you win a 1 steem spot prize for joining in on Week 1!
99 reasons why earthships are fuc!*ing awesome: Part #10 FINALE- Reasons 91-99
@eco-alex
DRUM ROLL!
This is the finishing line of the series, and it looks like I have actually managed to find 99 pretty amazing reasons why earthships are fuc!*ing awesome! You know it wasn’t that hard, and I didn’t have to do any Googling except for once just for fun.. Now when someone asks me what Biotecture is about I can reel out these reasons!
Now you can see why it is so hard to explain to people what Biotecture is and the very many good reasons to take up this approach. If you are considering building a home, I hope you can now agree that the reasons for building an Earthship are SO compelling, and nearly all of them can not be applied to even the best alternatives of eco-building.
The Age Of Abundance Unfolding Before Our Eyes
@taskmaster4450
This week was truly amazing on Steem. We are seeing things start to unfold just like many of us foresaw.
A decade ago, an amazing gift was handed to humanity. Bitcoin provided, for truly the first time, the average person with the ability to create money. While there are still technical challenges for most, we are seeing the process becoming easier. This is opening up an entire new playing field for humanity.
Of course, we saw the backlash from the establishment. Make no mistake, the powers that are do not want this ability in people's hands. The monetary system is one of the biggest factors in the "control state". Through this, they can instill fear in the masses. There is never enough meaning scarcity is always at hand. With the exception of the few, most are grinding it out, only to realize they fall further behind because that is what the system is designed to do.
People Eat And Breathe Up To 121,000 Particles Of Plastic Each Year
@johnvibes
According to new research published in the journal, Environmental Science and Technology, the average person can absorb anywhere from 74,000 and 121,000 particles of microplastic each year. Surprisingly, half of this microplastic toxification comes from the air we breath, and the other half comes from the foods and drinks that consume.
It was also noted in the study a lot of bottled water can increase the presence of these toxins by up to 90,000 particles.This is reportedly the first study to estimate how much plastic pollution is ingested by humans.
It's Astro-Logical -- practical advice for conscious living ---> Issue #79
@enchantedspirit
The theme of this pattern
Finances and partnerships align with long-term goals
and help with further progress on your adjusted life direction.
Who are the players
and what are they doing?
Venus in Taurus = supporting stability in resources and alliances.
Saturn in Capricorn = building a solid presence in your career or public life
Pluto in Capricorn = renovating your public life structures ... from the ground up
Departing Trines = Using your natural skills and self-promotion to achieve your goals
What's happening?
Ok. Before we go any further we need to catch up on the two little Venus trines highlighted in this month's Lunation. In fact, they're the only two things making progress or showing any movement at all. So in the spirit of "make do with what you have" ... let's talk about them.
Harvesting Magical Nettle!
@enjoyinglife
Teaming up with my buddy, we decided to harvest some Nettle!
This often ignored plant, costs at least $10 per 100 grams!
Even thou that was not the point of this harvest... its good to know how easy you can make money in the nature
We heard rumors about nettle nearby that's across huge space... the rumors were right:
When we arrived, little were we surprised. All kinds of nettle... old and fresh, we knew this was a jackpot!
Lot of smoothie ammunition here as well as lot of super-healing tea. Additional factor is nettle can be made in a top-notch ground fertilizer! How awesome is that?
We prepared mentally and jumped straight in the business!
1UP and Steem-Engine = Smart Curation for Steem Communities
@flauwy
The 1UP curation tool has been a long dream for over one and a half years now. You can find all the previous progress of the open source software for better Steem curation on @steem1-up. It is basically finished but got stuck on the final meters. In this video I adress @aggroed and @yabapmatt from Steem-Engine, to ask for a partnership to create the UP token and make it run with a Scotbot. This could work for all communities on Steem and specifically for all dApps and Steem-Engine tokens, like PALNet, Appics, ActiFit, Partiko, DTube, 3Speak, Steemhunt and so on and so forth. Better author rewards for great content and higher curation rewards for all supporters.
Great selection of posts, interesting and varied. Some of them I did not have the opportunity to read them, I suppose this would be a good time.
Greetings!
Such a thought-full and balanced selection @trucklife-family - appreciating the constancy you bring and the steady exposure to new readers. Much gratitude.
