The area of the park is a little more than 2 hectares, with steam locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars and national and international railroad infrastructure (many of these trains were brought from England).
In some of the trains you can get on and enter the passenger section, making you travel back in time. My oldest son was a fan of trains at the time (he called them "Chu chu") and for him, this museum was very exciting despite his young age, he enjoyed it to the fullest.
The entrance fee is approximately 1.5 USD per adult; children under 5 years old do not pay, you are not allowed to enter the museum with food, but I recommend you to bring water because the tour lasts about 2 hours. Our visit was not guided, we don't know the reason but there was no guide that day.

The museum is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm, on holidays the museum is closed, it is noteworthy that the museum is surrounded by trees, providing plenty of shade in the summer and making the tour more enjoyable.

In addition to this, they also exhibit freight cars, old rails and other railway infrastructure such as the replica of an old train station that operated in an area of Santiago.
If you love trains and travel to Chile I recommend this beautiful place. When leaving the museum you can also visit the Quinta Normal park which has very beautiful green areas.
