Today, life is so much easier and if we're not careful, we can aimlessly meander through our days with no problems to solve and thus, no growth to be had.
Reasoning and independent thought vs belief and faith...their battle is what makes it so easy for some to not even notice the lack of development in their lives. Those that ask for your time and attention vs you devoting it to healthy habits stand to gain most. These habits, combined with the mindful attention to monitor progress, have personally helped me break from destructive cycles. The biggest change was shifting the responsibility from some omnipotent actor to myself; I know I have power to shape my future and it just takes saying "yes I will" to what matters to me, over and over (and over! ;*)
I got Evernote when I was waffling about getting back to writing (and before steemit) and I know I didn't have to pay but I was wondering if, as a frequent user, you pay for the extra stuff? I use a note app right now that doesn't talk to my computer and in 2018, that feels too clunky.
