Being diligent is a completely underrated path to success. Many people are constantly looking for every possible shortcut to getting to where they want to go in life, but a lot of times, it simply comes down to being diligent.
Being diligent means keeping your eyes on the prize - it means stepping up to whatever task lays in front of the path to your dream. If you're looking to become a highly successful investor, then diligence is how you deal with all the roadblocks that come your way like raising capital, losing money, hazardous deals, etc.
Being diligent also means that you're constantly learning - it takes tremendous effort to be a learner. In order to be a learner you have to be incredibly curious about the world.
You have to be incredibly diligent to be a learner. You have to be willing to sit down, be patient and just listen to your inner most thoughts.
You also have to be diligent in other practices, like meditating, working out, yoga, etc. You have to be willing to put in the grunt work to build your skills and mindset.
Doing anything in life requires you to be focused on the end goal and improve your way towards it. The only way to become the person you want to be is to start exhibiting the qualities and habits of the person that you want to be.
It's actualy quite easy once you get started. But that's the hard part isn't it? Getting started.
Getting started means that you were already diligent enough in the first place to want to think of an idea to get started on!!
To get started, you have to go through so much mental baggage, but if you can just make it to the point where you actually start something, you can already be half way to whatever goal you want to achieve.
The first step is always the hardest, but you just put 1 foot in front of the other and be diligent in your steps to your dreams and you will reach them and more.
