RE: STEEM is still not Steemit, even if Tron buys Steemit.

in #tron5 years ago

"My early thoughts are that there must be an incentive to current stakeholders to move and swap to a new blockchain which may be dilutive to our stakes."

I think the incentive is one of the best...to stay in business. Steemit has been in a rapid decline since last year, with I suspect, not much time left. To sell to (or merge with) Tron, Steemit's shareholders will get something; to let Steemit fold (which I believe it was destined to do on its current path), Steemit's shareholders would get nothing.

Sort:

We do not need Steemit to stay in business. The changes made by the community over the last two years have made it more sustainable. Steem can live without Steemit as was proven during the same period.

If we get censored, we truly lose everything.

No amount of tokens is worth my voice.

"...here on Steemit..."

I am not on Steemit. You are not conversing with me on Steemit.

In addition to you not grasping the difference between Steem and Steemit, I utterly and vehemently disagree with you regarding censorship, and expect to see that disagreement reflected going forward during this transition.

Go with Steemit. Steem will be better off without you.
