This is a follow-up post from a couple weeks ago where I introduced Steemit to my newest favorite dice site, Dicebet. There have been a couple website updates so I thought it would be important to let my readers know.
New Look
Firstly, the website has been updated. When I logged on a few days ago and the update my first thought was thank God! Even though the site worked fine, it's my opinion that if you want lasting success you need to have some aesthetics involved in the product. It is just as true with food and arguably more true when it comes to websites. In an arena where there is plenty of competition it is important to set yourself apart and a good look is one important step.
BET Token Staking and Reward Estimate
This has been the new thing in the Tron gambling world and it is only right that DiceBet would follow suit. The new feature is a tab at the top left of the page titled "Payout". When you click the tab, you see information the amount of BET token currently staked, the percentage of the staked BET token relative to amount outstanding, the amount of TRX one can expect to gain per 10k tokens staked and the the amount of BET tokens one can expect to gain per 10k tokens staked.
You read that right, not only are they sharing 70% of the profits from the dice game but they are giving BET tokens to the stakers!
So, one thing to keep in mind is that in order to receive your portion of the TRX dropped you have to stke your BET tokens. Staking happens instantly but keep in mind that if you want to unstake the tokens are subject to a 24 hour hold before they are sent back to your TronLink wallet.
Two Tips
The first is a tip on accumulating BET tokens. If you end up playing the game and don't want to risk too much of your TRX just use the lowest odds.
Since, the payout of BET to TRX is still 1:1 (for each TRX bet on a dice roll you receive one BET token) I just set the bet up for a roll under 96 out of 100. You won't win a ton of TRX but you still get an equal amount of BET token as your wager. Obviously, if the thrill of gambling is something you like this won't be much fun but for the pragmatic aggregator it may be safer.
The second tip is the TronLink wallet. If you end up playing the game you will need a TronLink wallet attached to your Chrome browser. It is easy enough to set up. Just navigate here and make sure to write down your back-up info and key as well as save it somewhere safe!
