Trump is Too Late/Too Early: Which is it?

in #trump7 years ago (edited)

If anyone still questions that the mainstream media is maliciously biased against Trump and has been since before the elections, but went into overdrive after the elections then such people are willfully ignorant. If you watch the stories coming out, it doesn't matter what Trump does it is bad.

On Charlottesville he gave his initial response within hours of the beginning of the event, in fact it was STILL ongoing and news was still developing. He was criticized on this event for not responding quickly enough. As far as I am able to tell this was actually a very quick response. They then attacked his statements and I urge any of you to go to the source and read transcripts, watch videos, or listen to audio of the unedited FULL SPEECHES he gave. If you do you'll likely find that how it is being spun is not accurate and is intentionally designed to paint a malicious image in the minds of the people. Also known as propaganda.

Now we have Hurricane Harvey doing massive damage and causing a lot of problems beginning in Texas in Houston and other areas. It is now moving towards Louisiana and will cause problems as well there. The Houston incident has been ongoing beginning Friday night and until the current time. Trump is traveling to Texas today. The mainstream media is criticizing this as him going TOO EARLY.

When is a good time?

If you are Obama. Anytime is good.

If you are Trump. No time is good.

If you are Bush. It will be hit and miss.

This again calls to mind the fact that people protest Fascism and are challenging Trump by doing what? Well, by supporting the establishment that has existed for many decades regardless of the president. By listening to the CORPORATE media and the message they are pushing. In other words, those protesting fascism, establishment, "The man", "the powers that be", etc are in fact dancing like puppets to those exact entities.

Why?

They are mostly driven by emotion. That makes them very easy to manipulate. If someone challenges their ideas they don't stop to think about those challenges. They simply beat those people down, and violently attack them. They call them racism, fascist, Nazi, terrorists, islamophobes, homophobes, etc when in reality they likely don't actually personally know a lot about what those terms actually mean. They also don't think they need to look. You see today all you have to do is throw a label at someone. That label doesn't have to be true. The label as it launches towards the target is the arrow of justification. They now believe they are justified in attacking (often physically) the target of that label. It doesn't matter whether the label is true or not. They don't care about truth or facts. Anything that challenges them must be beat down.

This is why they despise free speech. It condones verbal challenges. Verbal challenges to them are justification to label and then attack.

I think these people may in fact be accurately described as classic horror movie zombies. Why? They want to attack people and eat brains. Thinking and challenging and considering are all aspects of intellect, critical thinking, wisdom. These sometimes are considered BRAINS. So they want to eat brains not to get more intelligent and grow themselves, but simply to eliminate any thought differing from the thought they desire.

This also describes a very large cult. You are accepted if you agree 100% with those that are most respected in the cult. If you challenge them you'll be quickly verbally checked by fellow cult members and if you change you'll be accepted, if you do not change and your challenge remains then you'll get beat down by your own cult members.

The corporate owners of the mainstream media seem very well aware of this. The so-called anti-fascists are actually the military arm of the closest thing to fascism that exists in the current era.

Sort:

Wow... excellent... exactly!!!

I wish I could take the credit for that one, but it's from http://acecomments.mu.nu/?post=371335

I was going to use it in a post explaining antifa as a democrat party front group, but I'm trying to take a day off politics today...not succeeding very well LOL

Yeah, I've tried to take a break too but it is very difficult because of all the crap going on and the endless onslaught. That's why I've been doing music and tutorial posts as I try to write about something else. Yet the news keeps coming.

I stopped watching tv years ago. Nothing of value. I tend to be under educated on the latest crap in the news, because I'm spending my time learning, investing, helping people, checking up on my family, trying to start a business.... Why watch the news when you know its all being twisted into into nothing but propaganda.

Yeah I don't watch TV either. Well I download TV series and watch them. Yet all of that propaganda has also heavily invaded the internet and that is largely where I am encountering it now. Turning off the cable and TV though was a mind opening experience.

you have to take breaks for your own sanity; I have really messed myself up several times by wallowing in frustration and anger past a point where I needed to lay off for a coupla days

(That was the Information War Part Six where I talk about the emotional costs of doing this, btw)

At the bottom line, enough folks have to make these decsions for themselves, we can't make them think right.

And while I think we do help with these discussions of critical thinking and propaganda, people have to want to listen, so there is no point making yourself a nut. do what you can when you can.

These things become like a mind virus for me. If I start thinking of them I am actually more stressed and distracted UNTIL I write them. They are like a living thing nagging me with "Are we there yet?" type questions that don't stop until I write them down. So writing them down will give me some relief.

The problem is that there is so much going on around us that it keeps inspiring these thoughts that I'd rather not be thinking about. Yet, me wanting a break doesn't mean reality will stop and take a break, so my mind doesn't let me either. :(

Oh my gosh we need people like you who can break down the insanity and remind us what true values really are! Your words fire like a zombie shield! It is exhausting though.. we need to make more self sustaining zombie shields...

hmmm

for me it's more of a Don Quixote complex, I think. If I don't raise the issues, then no one will

However, to be honest, I don't estimate I am having much effect.

Should I stop? Nope.

But it doesn't matter if I take a day off to rebuild my own strength...no one has manned battle stations due to what I write, and no one has been hung because they didn't heed my warnings

I'll keep at b/c maybe I will have an impact or wake up that one guy that gets shit done, or maybe that drip drip drip of Stevewisdom will seep in over time, LOL

Whenever someone says they want a safe space I say, "What? You mean like North Korea?"

Is there a way to bring these lost souls back? Or is this destined to end with violence? Sometimes I wonder.

We ignored things too long and allowed our education system to be greatly hijacked. As long as that remains true it will only get worse. They have simply become indoctrination camps.

This is clear by the obvious lack of critical thinking skills in the mass amount of people that are active these days. This includes University Professors who often have PhDs yet still have no skills whatsoever in critical thinking.

This last part doesn't surprise me. I worked for eCollege years ago that provided the online schooling platform to many colleges and universities all over the place. I was technical support for students and professors. I once helped a lady that was working on her third PHd and I was amazed she even had one.

Things are bad. The poison that crippled the minds of many of the current populace began in our schools, and that seems to actually be getting worse.

@dwinblood may be as agitated as I am at the moment (not an enviable position).

This recent post was my latest release of some mental #steem. Now is the time to create a decentralized, blockchain-based education platform. We need to find a time to connect!

Well especially since I live in Westminster, CO. :)

That was my thought...proximity is in our favor. Something you'd be interested in exploring?

Someday after this week... this week is pretty busy for me. Our annual company meeting is occurring this week.

Holy yes please! I will help in any way I can!

Why such interest?

In a decentralized block chain-based education platform? It sounds fantastic and very needed. I'm interested because I care about education.

Mtv did a great job too. Viacom. That's a company to research. I noticed subliminal messages in Mtv from a pretty young age so had a healthy skepticism of them from the get go. Creepy stuff. Like flashing an Owl picture every so often that said "We're watching you" along with other flash images. Very disturbing how much has been gotten away with. You really have to detach emotional response to let it all sink in. Critical thinking is a must. The zombie wars are all about perspective for sure.

my estimate is that things will move to violence; the polticians and burrocrats have too much invested in creating this situation, both in terms of kickback and in terms of accountability if things get cleaned up.

Americans can choose submission or sanitation

True, and there's also an increasingly savvy public to their stragedies that could turn the "planned" outcomes. That's what's great about the future. It hasn't happened yet.

I was literally talking about this the night of the press conference like an hour before the hurricane hit...I said "watch everybody is gonna cry about him responding TOO early"...didn't even know there was such a thing lol

It is what happened to him the first time he threatened North Korea with "fire and fury" and the MSM started crying Trump is dragging us into war, we're all going to die etc etc. If he hadn't said anything, they'd have called him a weak president...

Yep, "Damned if you do, damned if you don't". Catch-22, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, etc.

I am waiting till the other sides in this game reach the point of saying that is enough. Just because the rage has not leaped off the page and into their faces does not mean it won't. Stay safe..

Totally agree about the legacy media being unfair toward Trump and concerning the idea that there are people (including a lot of journalists) that use certain labels while not grasping their true meaning.

There is a distinction between white nationalism (Caucasian race nationalism advocacy) & white supremacy (European ethnic superiority complex), an important difference regarding negationism (in the context of the belief that the Jewish Holocaust didn't happen) versus revisionism (when contesting the validity of some official interpretation of history), and a big mistake in the making when someone uses the morpheme ''phobia'' (fear) when trying to describe something that would generally be understood as a ''misa'' (hate).

As for fascism, I think its definition is too controversial and lacking a general consensus for it to be used on a casual basis. For me, this word belongs to history books relating the Mussolini era. Some say it's the consolidation of public and private interests into one giant state apparatus and use the word each time there is a step toward big government and some others say it has to do with nationalism observe in the form of strong immigration policies and economic protectionism. I think we have enough denominations already at our disposal in order to describe each flavor of a modern authoritarian regime (totalitarian, dictatorial, oppressive, absolute, undemocratic, autocratic, tyrannical, one-party, monolithic...) without having to resort to a historical term.

Yep, I am seeing this as well especially your Mussolini reference. This is why I shake my head at Antifa as they are acting like Mussolini's thugs acted. So for actual fascism they are the closest thing to the historical meaning of the word that I've seen in action of late.

Yes, all would be needed for the Antifa to change their facial scarf and black clothes for military caps, boots, and uniform would be for a country's governing party to make them the official arm of their ''violence against hate'' policy against arbitrarily determined political heretics.

The media hates Trump but they haven't insulted him much on his actions toward the hurricane. They may focus on other small things but that tells me all I have to know.

This is how you can tell the whole reaction is part of a perception control program, which is the first stage of a color revolution.

Coming to our neighborhoods soon.

4th generation warfare crossing the rubicon.

Love this post. It's so refreshing to see somebody writing about these events that isn't caught up in the emotional frenzy that governs too much media today.
Rock on, my friend!

no one can beat him...
that's all I know...
upvoted...!!!

Does anybody really know what time it is ?
Does anybody really care ?

Another good post. When I scan yahoo each night and occasionally waste my time reading an article, I've thought essentially what you've titled this post. I'm not a lover of all that Trump says or does, but good grief does everything he wears, eats, says, etc. have to be parsed into chucks and spit back out with some bizarre intention or meaning. The unfortunate part of this is the average american has a 6th grade mentality, as pointed out by my marketing professor during my MBA studies. Really. The marketers target advertisements to a 12 year old. The media is a main source of "facts" for the average American. God help us because over time our society is doomed if all we think is truth comes from the twisted propaganda of the mainstream media.

Good New my friend...!!
