The art of the deal is that what we're witnessing? Mr T meets with the enemy to reach a deal. After the meeting the enemy reveals two different ways in which mr T abandoned major issues that gave him votes.
Mr T then in a cryptical way sort of denied both deals.
Is it really possible the Democrats dared to lie about this? In that case why? To seem prosperous? Hardly, as denial of their claim was only one tweet away.
I am left with the possibility that a deal was made but it is impossible for mr T to acknowledge that. My guess he will try to both honor the deal and misinform/ hide the actual effects of the deal. Watch out for coming distractions from the White House: North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan or some other smoke screen.
