Yes, THANK YOU! To me it is mind-boggling that anybody opposes trade. You and I have some political disagreements, but we can both recognize that change happens in economies, and it is not something to be feared, let alone something for the government to intervene to stop. Protectionism is often based on political favors, trying to win over voters rather than making sure the economy as a whole is strong, and protecting jobs in industries that are dying anyway. It is only a temporary measure that in the long run costs jobs, not to mention money and the quality and variety of products that people can purchase.
