I have come to realize that Trump’s idea to End all Trade and “Buy Local” is the greatest environmental decision any Leader has ever made.
His goal to stop importing stuff from other countries will actually end Global warming since we will stop sending airplanes and ships back and forth across the ocean spewing billions and billions and billions of carbon into the atmosphere.
Trump will inadvertently save our Planet from certain Doom.
“Everybody should just make their own stuff. And buy their own stuff. You know.... Buy Local. In America Buy American. In Canada buy Canadian. In the Arctic buy Arcticadian”

I absolutely agree that sourcing locally is a great thing but please don't claim that it will end global warming. Remember that to have a huge effect things need to be sourced very locally, like within 50 miles which isn't really practical in a country the size of the US.
Then the human race needs to stop travelling vast distances in vast numbers, eating so much meat, driving everywhere, waiting huge amounts of energy at home and at work unless its produced by renewable sources.
Buying local is one part of a huge web, its a positive but its not the total answer.

The U.S. doesn't not have a manufacturing base any longer, it was outsourced to China and elsewhere.
Now they will need to make everything again. With Robots.
Why all the robot talk? Isn't the biggest part of him trying to do this to keep jobs in America? Unless you design, make, or repair robots, it doesn't save many of those jobs...
