Theft of land and property, as well as the rape and murder of the white owners, is the agenda of the South African leaders. The politically correct term they throw around is expropriation without compensation. Last week, independent of an ongoing investigation by the parliamentary sub committee on public support for the change of our constitution, the South African president declared that due to overwhelming requests by their party members he was supporting and implementing expropriation without compensation as happened in Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe. In outrage at the illegal and immoral intentions of the political leaders, Zulu monarch King Goodwill Zwelithini, threatened war if the ANC went ahead with their plan. With the recent secession of the Cape, under independent sovereign rule of Khoi-San king Khoebaha Calvin Cornelius III, the rising animosity of the corrupt South African government seems bound to ignite civil war.
Striking has been escalating around the country. In certain areas wholesale looting is taking place. Photos and videos we are receiving of burning, ransacking and aggressive behavior is alarmingly on the increase. In Johannesburg, a three story Old Age home was picketed by the staff for 3 days. No one was allowed in or out. All this time the police were sitting outside the building claiming to keep the peace. None of the elderly received food or care. Most lay in their own soiled beds until a white militia organisation called the Boere Legioen (Farmers Legion) broke the picket under threat of violence. They brought in their own volunteers plus paramedics to assist the neglected and frail elderly people. Our national power utility Eskom is striking and basically bankrupt (with China bailing them out recently). More than 2 of our provinces have hospital staff striking. The National Post Office just finished their strike. Our airways SAA is virtually bankrupt and was recently bailed out. Most of the mines are closed due to strikes. The list goes on. The agenda of the South African leaders is none other than to cripple the country and ultimately murder or drive out every white. And yet, the world at large continue in blissful ignorance. Politics are not at all where my interest lies. But the escalating trouble in our country is quickly affecting all of us, and so I am sharing a little of the facts.
Recently a documentary, "Farmlands"was released by Lauren Southern. "Farmlands" is an extremely controversial and visually disturbing account of the situation, as well as the South African history leading up to today. They say truth is stranger than fiction. If you do not have the stomach for disturbing viewing do not watch it. Despite being aware of what is happening in this country I found it traumatic to view. That said people need to know. The international community need to be made aware. The truth of the white genocide in South Africa is being suppressed. The international and national media are covering up, at best, and justifying, at worst - the truth.

The folks who are getting free stuff, don't like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

Now... The people who are forcing the people to pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.
So... The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced (by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff), that they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.
We have let the (free stuff giving), go on for so long that there are now MORE people getting free stuff than paying for their stuff.
Now understand this: all great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out that they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.
Thomas Jefferson said it best: “Democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not”.
The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the number of people paying for the free stuff in South Africa. We have one chance to change that at the next election.... will we?

No stress. Time is something we don't ll have and on a farm you will have more chores than most. I don't quite know what to make of it at the moment but could go either way. it could be a smoke screen to get them the election result they need next year or it is another Zimbabwe. Either way there is going to be chaos and resentment. It is total racialism in reverse and there is no need for it. There is enough land that can be used but that would mean starting from scratch. Rather take over a productive farm with all the implements already done for you. They will just wreck it anyway and will only create food shortages and the economy will nose dive. The economy is already struggling as most won't admit it but we are in a recession.

Like you I don't have too much interest in world news (or local actually it's too scary) . My husband is part of many safety groups and gets the information that is otherwise suppressed. He's been filling me in on a bit and when I heard about the old age home I thought I had to write a post as the world is mostly in ignorance.

howdy there @buckaroo..this is such a devastating tragedy to a once great nation but I don't know if there is a solution with the one's who are leading are the one's causing the oppression and destruction. I don't even know what other countries could do but put sanctions on.

Thanks @birdsinparadise. My family and I are probably in one of the few remaining safer places. That said my brother is in one of the most dangerous. It concerns me. If you watch the Farmlands (perhaps skip the actual survivors testimonials as the are horrific) you'll understand that it is not really the land they are after but the annihilation of the whites. Land is the excuse. The farmers being murdered are not being killed for their land, just for the "sport" and to instill terror
A few weeks ago, i read a book about southafrica's history. That was bloody... And the whites do same 100 years ago, and then 60 years ago, and the apartheid was born.
Both system is wrong. Murder and violence is f.cking wrong. But most of the people cant do nothing, because not owned a private army. And the government support the violence. The own f.cking government...
We saw that earlier, 3. reich, sovietunion, cambodia, ruanda, yugoslavia, northkorea, china. For the people of power, the civilian victims doesnt matter.
So right now, the best choices for the whites, is the escape. They are the less, so they will suck, all way.
So burn all to the ground (the country doesnt need really all those stuff), and leave the continent.

I had heard about the genocide and land cofiscation some time ago, thinking it was horrid at the time but never hearing about it again I thought they were done with that. What is the world coming to that this can carry on. There is such a drop in morality and I welcome my little retreat in the forest. I'm so sorry to hear that this may be driving your country to civil war, I hope you will be safe and allowed to live a peaceful existence. @porters the reason I'm writing these political posts (which I actually hate) is because so little of the truth is getting international coverage. This is why people like Lauren Southern have made the Farmlands documentary (as horrific as it is) Some countries are opening their borders for the South Africans that are seeking asylum. I know that it is that desperate here when people flee overseas

We are blessed to still live in one of the few (if not only) safer places in the country. But my husband is Afrikaans and of the mindset of the general Boer/Afrikaaner that we remain and fight. He's part of many safety groups around the country. This means not only do we keep abreast of all the leaked news but also the bigger groups who will stand together to help one another defend (or ultimately flee if it comes to that)
So your husbands ancestry is from there? I can see how a man would want to defend his homeland but it must be scary for you to know that civil war could erupt in your country. Do keep safe and thanks for sharing the plight of your country.
Well yes and no. We are not from this area originally (only moved here 7 years ago) I am British, Scot decent (a bit of Dutch) while my husband is Dutch and some Brit. South Africa is our home. You get to know that among English speaking South African's there is not as much of a tendency to fight it out. A lot of the English South African's use ancestral British passports to emigrate. The Afrikaaner is extremely patriotich and inclined to fight for their land
