Politicians vs Voters/Citizens - Motives & Differences In Views.

in #truth3 years ago

It all too often seems that we the people, the citizens of a nation see and understand things "one way" and it happens to "differ" to how the "lawmakers" and "politicians" see the same thing.

It is a "phenomena" that occurs in all nations, particularly in Western Democracies, such as Australia, The USA, Canada etc etc etc.

I guess this may have something to do with the fact that most citizens were not indoctrinated via the educations system, namely most of us were taught to think and not "what to think".

Note: We can leave the topic of "indoctrination via government enforced education" for another time!

So, differences in the way we see and understand things often vary to that of those who may have loyalties that we as voters/citizens don't have. Namely, loyalties to a political party, or in the case of political cults, "loyalties to some political idiotology".
That is just one example of how our fundamental morals may differ, as loyalty to one another, to our families, to our children (future generations) are not affected if we don't have loyalties to a political party.
There are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of examples that can be given to show how those in government have other influences on them when they are talking about our laws, Bills, economy etc etc etc.

If we can understand that, then we can also admit to ourselves the fact that when we vote on something, such as a Referendum, we see things from a civil point of view, while those in office see it from their governance point of view. Often, there is a compromise that may very well suffice both sides on a topic. The language can in fact cover the views and fundamental morals that the voters see as a reason to support something and at the same time to cover the added extras that the politicians see as important too them.

We can go into the fact that A National Constitution is for us the people, the entire Nation, and should not be twisted to suit a political agenda, but that would raise a load of other questions and topics that would turn any discussion into a "parliamentary waffle session" with our one and only "Mr/Mrs speaker" being the "thought police" of the platform hosting that discussion.

So, what my point is, that we can try and read up and try to see how our views and loyalties may differ, how the language of the text we are voting on may or may not cover all of us who are affected by it and understand WHY it is that even with these differences a consensus can sometimes be reached, even if they are for very different goals at the end of the day.

However, then we need to ask ourselves:

What if a political structure of parties and politicians in the parliaments/senates go rogue?

What if they abuse their position of POWER and twist the wording or abuse the wording or even outright ignore OUR Constitution?

How can we remedy/ratify such a situation?

Do We The People have the ability to use "Whereas the people..." in a way that isn't dependent on the politicians?

I dare say that we DO NOT have any such possibility.

Swiss do!!!!!, we Aussies and many other Western Nations DON'T.

Here is the link to the website that I am referencing and you may find it interesting how those in the "legislative" branches of things see things from angles that definitely are not the sole or even primary point of importance to us Citizens/people/voters/Nation.

Happy reading and yes, this can be a "boring" topic to look into, yet if we look at the events over the past 2 years alone, I put the question to you:

"Has this issue affected your life in some negative way manner or form?"

Stay safe,

God bless.

Its a big club, and you ain't in it.

This is really the core of the problem.
We are not electing people that came up through the same schools we did.
We are not electing people that grew up in neighbourhoods like we did.

T.H.E.Y. are separate and look at us like cattle.
The politicians are just useful psychopaths the elite use to vote for what T.H.E.Y. want.

The entire structure of govern-cement is set up to keep the little people out and down.
We cannot vote out bad laws. We cannot even vote in good laws.
Even if we somehow get a good law passed, it gets struck down by the courts in an instant.
While decades go by trying to repeal a bad law.

What is wrong is that we have a power structure. One that is shaped like a pyramid, so that those who crave power the most can be the ones at the top.
Because good people do not crave power, they will never compete with what it takes to get to the top.
This structure is what we need to change.

100%

and maybe, just maybe, we can throw a spanner in their works in these current elections here in Australia.
