Dear @krisstofer,
My name is Steven Sherman and I am a Messianic Jew. I agree with you that their are pagan rituals incorporated into the Christian faith. I am sharing my understanding of the Hebrew language below in bold type.
The Father’s personal name is YHUH, which is spelled from right to left in Hebrew as יהוה.
Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey is pronounced Yehovah.
The Scriptures declare that the name of the Son means “Yahuah Saves,” so His name includes part of the Father’s name along with the Hebrew word for ‘saves.’
The Son's name is Yeshua and means salvation.
The Son’s personal name is Yahusha, which is spelled from right to left in Hebrew as יהושע
יְהוֹשׁ֫וּעַ according to the nikud (vowel points) is pronounced Yehoshua . It does mean Yehovah saves but is the name of the leader after Moses.
Shalom, Steven @lastdays
