Lolz at your last few words...
Ba hahhahaaaa love it, raise the roof LOL!! Thanks for watching til the end my friend!
I gotta admit, I did watch you at 1.5x speed, but I did indeed watch till the end XD
Whaaaaa? 1.5 speed?? hahahahaaa
I'm a spaz and I need information fed to me in a spastic manner...
You're absolutely right. Everyday on every news channel is a ridiculous amount of tragic events or a list of things you should do to be safe. Lol fuck sakes. Vaccinate this, medicine that, killer over here. Go fuck yourself news! The world is a great place with great people in it. Get out there and live.
We also need to remember fake news sells. Slow news days are deadly. Sponsorship and paid commercialism is no place to find real news...
Mhmm true that @cecicastor :)
You know, the spookiest source of fake news I see today is Facebook. It's especially sinister because I see the messages that are propagated by politicians and special interest groups getting absorbed and regurgitated by well-meaning friends that used to know how to think for themselves. You know that there are big minds and powerful interests out there managing the information flow and convincing people that they really believe these messages.
The other day, @cheah wrote
These days, all I see on my Facebook feed is outrage. And I want to ask my friends, "Why are you so outraged? Who has something to gain from getting you so worked up? Why don't you think about what you're saying?"
We're not just fucked these days. We're fucking ourselves!
SO TRUE! This is why I hardly go on FB anymore, except to promote my Steemit posts. Everyone is constantly outraged about something, and guess what? As soon as the media presents the next thing to get your outrage on about, they move straight onto it, forgetting entirely about the thing before. And all the while, remaining ignorant of events and trends that are truly worth being outraged.
I always feel like I should speak up, but hardly ever do. Maybe I'm being a coward, but it just doesn't seem like a productive venue for it. If I'm going to howl into the wind I'd rather do it in the fresh air than an artificial wind tunnel.
Mmm I think I understand what you are saying, but just to clarify, are they mostly parroting MSM information?
My "Go To" for fake news is the UK Daily Mail. If they have great photos - all well composed, lighted, and described within minutes of the event - I know I found one.
This happened with a couple of events close to home where I had connections. Daily Mail got the photos before the local outlets! Since then, it has not failed me.
Although in general - if it is on tv - it's fake. The word "program" has meaning that few pay attention to :)
Well said! You're fucked :)
Ahhh, someone watched to the end HAHAA!! :) High five Dr. Crypto!
Good morning Lyndsay , thanks again for the great work you do , keep doing the music against those liars . up and resteemed.
I have come to be aware of the following: a potential "red flag" indicating propaganda is when the emotions get stirred and vectored in a definite direction. Effective propaganda is based on the twisting-of-subjective-emotional-reality.
It boils down to this: if heart-strings are tugged, sit up and take notice.

Hi Lindsay, actually their is a gap in the argument that you made:
We should not confuse the messanger with the message. A person with a bad reputation can tell the truth and viceversa.
Always take information given from someone else with a grain of salt...no matter where you get the information (even if they claim that they did "research"). Especially on the internet where alot of the "research" is just collecting opinions from others.
This is especially true when we hear something that validates our own world view (that's when our critical thinking ability disapears)
So what you are saying, is that everything is fake news? Unless you were there yourself?
Not exactly. I am just saying that we shouldn't come to the conclusion that something is untrue just because it was reported by certain news outlets that have comercial interests behind them.
99% of the time the media reports actual events but the distortion comes when they start to qualify the news.
For instance where I come from the media would report about rallies and protests but would focus on the inconvenience that they would cause by slowing down traffic. Both were true but they would downplay what triggerd the protests in the first place.
Sometimes people with good intentions make up stuff or choose to ignore things for political reasons (after all "It's for a good cause").
The real test comes when two different sources report very different accounts for certain events. That is when you know that someone is lying or being inaccurate on purpose.
The bottom line is that we should not ignore what the regular media publishes or accept as a fact that the non-mainstream media always tell the complete stories. We just need to follow the sources.
Stay away from mainstream media, whatever they tell you, believe the opposite. Seek alternative news sources, because they bring true information and expose the mainstream lies. Another easy way to tell if it's fake news is to ask Trump 😁
I disagree. Breitbart and the American Thinker are professional news sites but neither one is fake news.
The globalists own the Democratic Party, 2/3 of the Republican Party, the mainstream media, and the educational establishment. One thing you see with fake news is the same spin coming out everywhere at the same time. Like the crap about Obama being a "reluctant warrior". Or them saying that George W Bush's selection of Dick Cheney to be his running mate added "gravitas" to the ticket. There must have been 100 people in the media using that word and I haven't heard anybody use that word before or since.
I'm talking about a bit bigger cats...
I would just like to add that any outlet selling Trump as "anti-establishment" is obviously fake news!
Keep spitting truth with a sweet smile and voice @lyndsaybowes
Yeah, anyone thinking that someone is going to 'save us'...that some politician can make things "all better" has their head crammed so far up their ass ... well you get my point. The answers lay within all of us. There is no saviour. The systems are absolutely corrupt and need to be dismantled. Everything must be decentralized. We have to learn how to self-govern and work again as communities.
I try my best in my own little corner of the world, yet I know I'll probably never see the changes I wish so badly to see. Maybe in the next 7 generations though. Humanity is indeed waking up...we just have a LOT of work to do.
speaking of getting paid for news, or videos, check out the new https://dtube.video ... this is the new steemit video service. My suggestion, let's ditch youtube as soon as possible. I've just found this today, and I've got 2 videos I tried uploading on there, it worked great.
Take care.
Thanks <3
