“Truth is reality. That which is false in unreal. The more clearly we see reality—ourselves and the world, the better equipped we will be to deal with both. The less clearly we see reality, the more our minds will be befuddled by falsehood, misperceptions and illusions, and the less able we will be to determine correct courses of action and make wise decisions.” – M. Scott Peck, from “The Road Less Traveled”
In other words, the more clearly we see reality and ourselves, the more sane and mentally healthy we are and will become. The less clearly we see reality and ourselves, the less mentally healthy we are, and are constantly becoming. The truth is not only what will set us free, it’s also what defines us as being sane and healthy. When we’re mentally healthy or getting healthy, we know the truth and we wrestle with it, and we try to do so with more and more integrity and honesty. But when we’re mentally unhealthy, when we’re neurotic or have a full-blown personality disorder (narcissism, antisocial, borderline - all three closely related and overlapping), we don’t really know the truth any more, we don’t know who we are or how we really feel or what we really ought to do; our lives are caprice, chance, testimonies to fear and impulse and chaos, instead of goodness, love, courage and truth.
When we’re mentally unhealthy, we're not interested in truth or in facing it or ourselves, but in avoiding truth at all costs; we’d rather lie and steal and make excuses and believe what we want to believe because we want to believe it and because we’re convinced that it will make us feel better than we are in learning what is actually the case. In other words, when we are mentally unhealthy or ill, we prefer lies and confusion to truth and clarity. Mental unhealth is a process of ongoing dedication to deception, falsehood, confusion, and illusion at all costs. Mental health, on the other hand, is a process of ongoing dedication to truth at all costs. We don’t spare any expenses, in fact we take on all costs, we give up our comfort, we forsake it and our comfort zone, we accept loneliness, becoming different, strange, isolated, unpopular. For often these things are the prices we have to pay for following our conscience.
Being firmly dedicated to truth is key to creating a virtuous upward cycle in our lives; being unfirmly dedicated to truth leaves us open to falsehood and confusion, and falsity and confusion are key to a vicious or downward cycle.
The United States of America in 2016 is not the same USA we all grew up idolizing. It's not the place that it was "supposed" to be, where we're the hero's who step in and help others less fortunate than ourselves. We are simply not the "land of the free" nor the "home of the brave." Plain and simple, the masses prefer ignoring truth in the name of remaining comfortable. "Comfort" is the main reason that people don't accept or even consider truth. When you remove somebody from their comfort zone you leave them vulnerable, therefore, people are simply choosing to remain comfortable as opposed to questioning the thousands of things that don't seem right with this world. Now lets ask ourselves what it means to remain "comfortable." The definition is not difficult to grasp. My definition of a person remaining comfortable relates to their experience in their every day lives. You work all day long, 8 long hours or more. By the end of your day you cant help but start thinking about what you're going to do after work, and / or the tasks that need to be handled. Too often do we walk in our homes, set our keys and sunglasses down, and go straight for the couch and television. Reality television can be used as a prime example of remaining comfortable. It is mindless programming that consists of mostly unintelligent "reality actors" playing out scripted scenarios that involve nothing but constant and consistent drama. The woman who goes home at night and turns the "Reality TV Housewives" is subconsciously programming her mind to accept the behavior of what shes watching... even if she's convinced herself that she only watches it for entertainment value.
The bigger problem here is that our society is desensitizing themselves with current entertainment. For anyone who considers themselves "awake" it has become more than obvious that the people at the top of the pyramid that own all major industries (Oil, Big Pharma, Media, Music, Hollywood, The Federal Reserve Bank) have devised a horrible plan to trap us all within their corporatocracy which is the stepping stone to their New World Order and Agenda 21. We are the new slaves as debt slavery has a grasp on the 99%, and it affects our daily lives, our futures, and our overall well being in this life. Most people are still unaware of the outright horror the elites have caused and the roles they've played in every major war and crisis in American history. They're still unaware that Adolph Hitler is a member of the Rothschild family and was simply the puppet used to orchestrate the SS and their crimes against humanity. They are unaware that George Herbert Walker Bush's father Prescott Bush changed his name when he came to the US. His real name is George Scherff, and he was a NAZI and close friend of Adolph Hitler.
I guess what I'm getting at is the 41st and 43rd Presidents of the United States are NAZI's behind closed doors. Without straying too far off topic, if the public understood these facts along with the (mostly) declassified document "Project Paperclip" (which I recommend EVERYBODY to read), they would find the information very hard to accept. No one ever said it was easy to learn that almost everything you've been told by your government, media, family, friends, teachers, and everyone else in your lives... was a flat out lie. When you start to research these facts it's not difficult to see the horrifying puzzle pieces fit together.
We can only hope people start putting truth over comfort, because all the signs are pointing to the worst. It's time to stand up for each other instead of waiting on the very government that's removing our constitutional rights every single day.
