The tron network is different from its predecessor eth since it's mainnet launch tron is run by nodes on a delegated proof of stake consensus. Over 1000 nodes currently exist on the network consisting of 162 candidates with 27 super representatives.
Freezing tron for energy and bandwidth gives you Voting Power (VP) and a rate of 1VP for every tron you freeze for the minimum of 3 days. Each VP allows you a vote for a representative, so if you freeze 1000 tron you'll have 1000 vp for as long ad the tron is frozen. This in turn allows you to receive rewards for voting for certain Super Representatives, and SR candidates. Voting for good SRs is an important part of tron, many are community driven,The SRs must have a majority concensus if a propossal to upgrade the network is put forward.

The adoption rate of TRX is staggering, since mainnet launch on May 31st 2018 a total of 2 million wallets have been created the pace of which increases gradually every day. What makes this significant is this rate of adoption coincides with how fast the network is.

With the bear market we saw many reasons why it happened, many blockchain projects were speculation, others were slow and expensive and the more pending transactions the more expensive it became. What really makes Tron stand out in this aspect is its utility and speed.

Currently tron has a daily trxn rate of 3 million and is currently (time of writing) at block 7325797 and each block consists of around 60-100 transactions at a tps rate of 39 per second with a max transaction speed of 748 per second. Which means that I can send and confirm transactions with trx or one of the tokens built on tron network, practically speaking,instantly.

Im going to keep this brief by now you may already be optimistic and will probably do your own research with the resources i supply below, one of the best things about tron is its token economy and potential for dapps, ico's and community built ecosystems.
Currently there are two types of tokens you can build- trc10 which are basic contracts. While trc20 is the smart contract token. Depending on how you want to build a token each token has its positives. One of which is dapps. Decentralized applications built on tron through smart contracts. Fast secure and easily codeable through various coding languages including Java.

Each of these bots creates you a tron wallet and allows you to tip and airdrop on telegram with trx and trc10 tokens, both have minimal fees that provide the developers with a small source of income for keeping the bot up to date.

The most underestimated mainstream project on tron would be BitTorrent protocol acquisition and its BTT coin. BitTorrent protocol has been around since 2003 and currently has an estimated daily userbase of 100m and a total of 1b devices that have the protocol downloaded.
Many companies, large companies, currently use the open source protocol incentive free for several years. These companies will all be able to upgrade their client and participate in the BTT incentives being built in. This will be an on chain-offchain solution. Transactions of btt on the BitTorrent protocol will be done in the protocol and will only interact with the tron mainnet when they are removed from the BitTorrent platform. This will allow for its potential to be prescaled when launched.
