It was 1984, turned the TV on a normal saturday morning. A new cartoon is airing on channel 9. Turbo Teen! A 17 year old kid drives reckless on a windy mountain pass. Has a n accident he and his car become one. Fist and feet becomes tires and axel rods, his face becomes a bumper and body turns into a chasis. This is very confusing for a 6 year old. Hoping that I would have the same accident to transform me into a car. So, that my puppy love sweetheart would ride in me in my car form.
20 years later you realize this 80's car genre cartoon is a physiological troublesome for a 5 year old. Aspiring not to own a car, but THE car.
Fighting crime every week as a car. Some how ripped off Knight Rider. A talking car that drives itself. Except no Micheal Knight. Brett Matthews is the hero and the car at the same time. Same car desiqn of a pontiac firebird. Don't see how kids can fight against crime. This maybe is my encouragement to sneak out of my own house to find who bike napped my BMX.
This also a toy model kit released. Turbo Teen Pontiac Firebird. Very dissapointing for kid since you can't morph him into human form. Talk about false advertising.
