Turkish football club pays new marking in Bitcoin

A Turkish beginner association football club has exchanged a player by paying him with Bitcoin, in what the club executive said is the principal marking of a player in digital money.

Harunustaspor director Haldun Sehit disclosed to Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency late Tuesday that the club paid player Omer Faruk Kiroglu 2,000 Turkish liras worth of Bitcoin (0.0534 Bitcoin) notwithstanding 2,000 Turkish Lira ($540).
