Hello Steemians! Your neighbourhood serviceman here! In case you've forgotten, my name is Gideon, and my aim is to promote steemit and make our community better in any way I can.
So I've been seeing a lot of minnows post and hearing a lot of dejected complaints about the upvote they receive, some posts never even passing the 0.00 limit, despite using visible tags and all. The simple truth is that, a lot of whales and small whales and big fishes most times won't vote on minnows post, leaving them to vote on other posts with over $100. Personally speaking, it can be really painful to take time to compose a well written post and not get the attention it deserves.
Not to worry, I have researched two ways for minnows to get quality Upvotes on their posts.
The first - Steemfollower
SteemFollower is a manual curation platform that gives #UpvoteForUpvote. Basically you would be provided with the posts of a list of other members on Steemfollower who have steemit accounts and required to vote on these posts. Each vote will send you a point and you can only vote 15 posts. After voting, your own post will enter the list and someone else will see your post and vote for you. Kind of like a tit for tat programme. It's basically the easiest and non expensive way to get Upvotes on your posts. You can sign up here.
The second way to get Upvotes is by paying for the vote with your Sbd. Hold on... Before you get your panties in a bunch. It's one of the fastest ways go get huge votes on your post in a short amount of time. There are big whales on steemit who give votes go anyone who is willing to pay for them. You send them a small amount of sbd and get a huge upvote on your post, a vote of minimum $3. The minimum amount of sbd you can send to them is 0.5 sbd.
How to go about it
You write your post and copy the link of the post. Then send a minimum of 0.5 sbd (depending on the amount of upvote you want) to @postpromotion and put the link of your post as memo. And voila... You get your upvote.
I'll advise you not to send more than 10sbd to them to avoid complications of different sorts. So #minnows and #newbies, the chain is broken, start getting relevant Upvotes in your posts and rewards for your hard work.

Very good content @awolesigideon...but I think you should tell the readers to check the policy of the voting bot they want to use so their SBD and Steem will not go into thin air.
Each voting not has its own policy - the SBD or steem minimum you can send to them (ranges from 0.01 to 1SBD or more), the age of your post (some will not upvote if your post is older that 5 days, I have seen 3.5days) and a voting bot can upvote your post once(if you send SBD to it to upvote the same post again, your SBD is likely gone). So take note of all these before sending your steem or SBD as most of them are doing no refund policy.
And always put the correct link of your post in the memo...or else your post cannot/will not be upvote.
