Since new users are registering and creating a new account daily. There is a need to put them through some of the basis of some steemit principals

• I will say the number one rule all newbies need to know is that they should stick by the rules and try to be original in all their works, stay away from plagiarism because it can ruin your reputation and your name in the community. The spirit of transparency is needed.

• It is clearly known that the first post on steemit is the "introduce your self post", there you will make a good impression about yourself because good impression matter alot and also last longer.
Give your tittle a nice and catchy heading. The body of your writeup must be a good and welcoming one and it doesn't have to be a long writeup. It must be filled with all the necessary hint about everything you can do, be it your writing skill, you can draw, you can Cook, some areas you are good in.

It doesn't have to be everything I have mentioned above. Let people know what triggered you to join the platform. Who invited you? Where and how you came about steemit and also a mind blowing reason why you joined the platform

Add a resent picture of your self and proofread your writeup before posting it.

• Do not upvote your post EVERY TIME, doing this you are earning yourself more ways and some respect.

• Do make a real friendship on the community, follow authors with good content and engage yourself on other steemians blog. Don't let everything be about yourself only. Your interaction and comments on others blog can go a long way.

• This platform is a platform where all your ideas are welcome by those who love it. Try to have a niche and improve yourself by reading write-ups of those in the same niche like yourself.

• Always ask questions on things that you don't understand or better still read the Steemit White Paper, though it might take some hours out of your time. Just read it, once you understand there won't be much problem.

• It is very essential to use the right tag. Don't just assume any tag. Every of your tag matter a lot on the visibility of what you you are about to post or thing you have posted already.

Unlike other platform where you just use any tag. That is not applicable here on steemit. Once you use a wrong tag for a good post, it might not get that visibility you want.
Another thing to note is that you can't change your first tag.

• Always engage yourself with the community. Ask questions like I have said before, from some the existing users you think knows better, though not all will answer you but there are vast majority of steemit users that will be glad and happy to give answers to your questions because they also were once new here.

  • also note that steemit is not a get rich in a day platform. You need to work for it not just because of the money involved but also because you want to teach and also want to learn.

Thank you bro. am new here, i think this will help

Surely it will help you

Very good! All those new to Steemit should read this!

Thanks. They should read it.

I wish I knew this earlier, I was actually introduced into steemit without proper orientation ,i had to learn myself through mistakes but anyway he did a good job by bringing me into a community like this. I suggest the top officials create room/group for the newbies for such orientation before they are added to the major group

Sorry for that. And that is the main reason for giving out this tutorial.
