In the next few days I'll be posting tips and a bit of tutorials on designing with CAD Software.
The usefulness of CAD Software cannot be over stressed, most high end CAD Software can be used not just for design, but for simulation and analysis. Before you fabricate a system, you can design it and run series of analysis on it, you can run analysis to find out the breaking point, to find out what material would be suitable for use, etc. Based on your result from the analysis, adjustments can be made to your design to optimize it's performance and life span. Therefore, saving cost.
As an engineer or aspiring engineer, the knowledge of CAD Software is a must.
In the next lesson, I'll outline a series of CAD Software and list out their advantages.
