If you didn't know yet, season 7 of the awesome show Game of Thrones will premier this Sunday. With only two seasons left and given the outstanding quality of season 6, a lot of people, me included, are extremely hyped for this!
Even though the show is far less complex than the books, it still is packed with different storylines, hapening in different continents and with dozens of different characters. It's not easy to remember it all, especially after a 1 year break!
So what I've done is I gathered up the best videos/channels for you to catch up, remember the plots, and learn more about the Game of Thrones series. Welcome to SYCCO(Some YouTube Channels You should Check Out) #1.
1. The best catch up videos
There are a lot of recap videos on Youtube, but I feel like most are going way too fast and in the end are just a waste of time because information is going too quickly to be correctly processed. So here is a video that in my opinion is the best to catch-up since season 1 (12 min):
The Ultimate Game of Thrones Recap Seasons 1 - 6
If you're in a hurry, or just want to catch-up on season 6, I'd recommend this less than 2 minutes video. In this case fast-paced videos are appropriate since your memories about S6 should be fresher than the previous seasons.

2. Learn more about the GoT universe : Discover the in-depth analyses of the 2 S7 trailers, and find out about the craziest fan theories
The hardcore fans' dedication to the story is absolutely amazing. Not only do they develop crazy theories that happen to be true (like the one about Jon Snow being the son of a Targaryen - just like Daenerys- and Lyanna Stark -Ned Stark's sister-), but they also manage to show you how easy it is to overlook something when you aren't focused on every little detail. Watching videos of analyses allows you to connect to the whole George RR Martin universe, and gives you an insight on how amazing and detailed that world really is.
I would strongly recommend this channel in particular: New Rockstars. Just be careful, since many of their theories have happened to be correct, obligatory mini-spoiler alert. This amazing breakdown of the trailer was one of their coolest videos:

3. (Re) Watch the series from the perspective of your favorite characters
Ok, this one is both pretty cool but not for everyone as it will make you spend a LOT of time on youtube :D. As you may know, the books use a special kind of narrative where we follow a character from his POV in third person, as if we were over his shoulder. What you can do to recreate that in the series is to isolate all the parts where a given character is present, and then put them together in one big compilation. And guess what? Some youtubers actually did just that. This is kind of like steemit and chainbb: two different ways of looking at the same raw material. It allows you to discover the series in a way that you had never seen before. My favorite by far were the compilations focusing on secondary characters, such a Varys, or Missandei & Grey Worm.
GoT Rewind: Missandei & Grey Worm
You will find this kind of format for almost every character on KevinGT's and Daemon Blackfyre 2.0's YT channels.
As I said, this is time consuming, but hey, after all, it's the full story of the characters from season 1 to 6 in one video, and in comparison, it's way shorter than rewatching 3 episodes of the series.
Good call, I need to refresh my memory and get my mind right before it starts!
Thanks for your comment and your support @financialcritic, means a lot!
Yes it is. I can't wait. It's the only show I watch anymore on tv.
Thanks @bodyinbeta. It's one of the best shows ever in my opinion!
