I tend to avoid super-hero series because I feel as though both Marvel and DC have gone a bit nuts with over-producing them over the years. I don't even recall the names of all of them but that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, if i am even quoting that correctly, was just awful. I don't know anyone that liked it but it seemed like it was on all the time (this was back in the days when i was living in the jungle and had to use satellite to watch anything.)

But since I fear that I might have been food poisoned in the first 6 hours of my time in Laos I have been sitting in my room trying to fight the nausea, and drinking a bunch of water. I saw this pop up on the screen and I figured I would give it a go.
Thankfully, it is done in a very dark style, it seems as though they are attempting to mimic the Nolan Batman style and that is just fine with me because those are the best ones and even though I didn't much care for the one with Bane in it, overall that trilogy is epic and any mimicking of it is a welcome one.
Initially I had my doubts when I saw that the story focused on Robin (of Batman and Robin) because I always found him to be a bit corny. However, that is not how he is presented in this series. He is friggin brutal and unlike his Bat Pal, he has no qualms with bloodshed or the use of firearms. I've always found the "zero deaths" aspect of Batman to be a bit impractical even though I realize that is pretty much everything dude stands for. However, I am happy to see that this series seems to be going after an older audience because I found SHIELD and Gotham to both be duds as far as being a series is concerned.

Thus far the series focuses on 4 main, what appear to be heros and despite the fact that i was a video game and comic book nerd for most of my youth, I don't know who any of them are other than Robin. This should make the series extra interesting for me provided they keep up the rather good cinematography and fast-pace of the story.
I am aware that this is based on "Teen Titans" but I never saw the cartoon or read any of the comic books, presumably because it had the word "teen" in it.
All-in-all, this comes highly recommended by me although it is too early for me to have a full-on view of the storyline after just 2 episodes. On a scale of 37 to 592 i give.

I'll definitely have to check it out. I might not watch the whole thing; never really been into DC's film/TV offerings except for The Dark Knight trilogy (I worked in a movie theater when Rises came out, so I watched it something like a dozen times) and the rather good Wonder Woman film.
At the risk of sounding hypocritical given my recent favorites, it's often just too dark for me.
i have already read that it drags on mid-season and I suppose this should be expected because they feel, for some reason, as though it is necessary to have 10 or more episodes when they only have 4 episodes of story to work with. Already I can see the pace going downhill. I'll have to wait and see.
The season finale makes up for everything. Some episodes drag a bit, but it builds up a lot. I won't spoil anything, but there is already a spin-off show and a second season commissioned a year away.

This will be an epic film because I like any movie that is based on super hero and action pack, bit I haven't watch this series but based on your candid analysis I think it will be an interesting and entertaining movie

Hi, I just saw the first season hoping that the second one was on par and that there was a change in Raven's character because I did not like the way they treated him and I do not talk about the actress but about the profile or image they showed, which if I liked it was the introduction to the doom Patrol that was something very similar to the comic and apparently they will have their own series, I hope more series of this type attached to the comic but that is my opinion you think

I have not seen the movie, I will try to see it, as far as the superhero movies, they are usually very bad, I hope this is the exception.
Good thing the superhero movies have changed, I've seen movies of this kind, very bad. but, as you describe this, it seems to be good
