Nightwing has finally been cast.
The lucky winner is Brenton Thwaites.
You may have seen Brenton Thwaites in big budget flops such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Gods of Egypt and The Giver. The status of these movies as flops is debatable, but he is a movie actor, who agreed to be in a tv show so there must be a really good reason why. I really hope that that reason is good material to work with. I must admit, I like Brenton Thwaites, I think he is talented and charismatic. Although, the movies he was in were not particularly good.
I don’t think he is enough to negate the fact that this show is written by Akiva Goldsman (The Divergent Series: Insurgent, The 5th Wave, and _ The Dark Tower_), the writer of so many flops and terrible scrips. We will have to see the result, perhaps DC and his writing partners will reign him in. So far, I’m intrigued.
