I didn't expect to like this show as much as i did because it is a very common subject matter. However, the music, the character, and the direction are wonderful. I watched the entire first season in one sitting.

Watching the first two seasons are a must before watching the new one on Netflix, it adds so much content to the characters that return.

yeah, i originally started watching what netflix has labeled as season 1, but is actually season 3. I had no idea what was going on and while i don't suppose it is necessary, it is a lot more meaningful to me if i have some context and background on the characters / area / wtf is going on.
