After the K-drama Big Mouth, we found another new drama to watch right after called The Golden Spoon. It tells of a boy that switches families from his poor one to a rich one. It's into the 4th episode, and we chase it every Friday and Saturday when it is released at midnight or a little earlier on Disney+.
These k-dramas are always 16 episodes long. We have been chasing these kinds of dramas since Big Mouth, and I think we will be doing so for quite some time.
The good thing about The Golden Spoon is that they are taking cliche stories and putting twists that make them creative and full of suspense. The cast is just perfect and plain good to look at. Both Bear and I love the characters and root for them as we continue the series in the days to come.
We are looking forward to Fridays and Saturdays now. It's just one of those times in personal history that feels good. In primary school, we used to wait a week for our favourite shows to have new episodes. For me, it was Quantum Leap, McGuyver, Air Wolf, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Hunter and the list goes on and on. Full House, The Cosby Show... I think we just watched too much TV back then.
