For anyone who grew up in Britain, watching those grainy educational programmes, such as ITV's "Experiment" series and BBC's "For Schools and Colleges", on a TV that had been wheeled into the classroom was a very regular occurrence (depending on how hungover your teach tended to be). If you're feeling weirdly nostalgic, might I recommend Look Around You. It was a BAFTA nominated British television comedy series devised and written by Robert Popper and Peter Serafinowicz, and in the first series, the episodes (or "modules") satirise and pay homage to early 1980s educational films and school programmes like the two mentioned above.
At first glance you might not be able to tell the difference it's so well made, however the humour soon becomes apparent with it's mix of patent nonsense and faithful references and homages. Peter Serafinowicz is quite a recognisable name and voice these days (seriously, go look him up on IMDB) but back then he was just another up-and-coming BBC comedian. His particular dry humour comes across well in this one, unlike his less successful sketch-based show The Peter Serafinowicz Show (although it must be said, Brian Butterfield is a f*cking hilarious character).
I managed to find the pilot module, calcium, on YouTube so give it a try. You can also pick up both seasons on DVD for a few quid these days too, so if you enjoy it, it's well worth tracking down the DVD copies. I've had them both for years at this point, I even think the first season was maybe my first Amazon purchase, but who knows at this point.
Did you watch the pilot? Write your thoughts down in the comment section below, and had them in to your teacher at the end. Oh, and as a side note, I'm trying to get a new tag started; #tvdiscovery so if you write posts about shows you enjoy and others might too, then add the #tvdiscovery tag to your posts. I often find the #TV tag to be a bit cluttered. Until we meet again, take it easy!

C.I.M. is really funny too... I found out people on FB already believe it to be true, so there's a good chance it's gonna take a root on steemit ;)
White element! That's quite racist, isn't. It's calcium phosphate mostly, so rather a lot of phosphorus in there :)
Cool post. Im a fan of that #tvdiscovery. I remeber doing math on an old school projector that needed to be wheeled into the class room. How times have changed. What kind of material would fall under that hash tag?
Thanks so much bud! Was it one of those overhead projectors that used transparent pages? I kinda miss those...
Anything related to TV shows really, which is unhelpful and vague! I look at the TV tag and it is just full of all sorts, mostly stuff not relating to TV shows. Trailers, reviews, discussions... if you feel it fits, then it fits! I tend to stick to these style posts, not really reviews but whatever they are, plus the odd trailer or fan theory.
It would be great if you started using #TVDiscovery in your posts, I'm the only one so far! Or if you come across others on this platform who might enjoy/benefit from it then spread the word. Thanks again for your comment pal, see you around hopefully!
Edit: I'm also thinking about starting up the #MovieDiscovery tag if you have anything that would fit under that too, although I haven't posted under it yet myself yet.
There it is. Haha. Bingo!! Awesome man will do.
